It’s all about lacey laces

Somehow I ended up with lace-less converse this morning.

I’ve got a handy bag filled FULL with ribbons and all sorts, so I hoped I’d find my laces there.

Nope.

Did one better lace laces!

Who says you need to buy glasses when you have jars! I’ve just moved into my own place, so there are a few things I currently don’t have. I have so many jars! So I thought why not and them for drinking glasses. All of the bars are doing it these days for cocktails 🍹
What have you from something that would have otherwise been thought of as rubbish or ?

Here's another gift I made for my sister in law's birthday. A simple scented candle in a beautiful jar that I then painted with leaves. I used soy wax and essential oils to scent it. Looking forward to making some more!

Here are the finished bouquet of crepe paper flowers and matching card for my Grandma's birthday. I'm really enjoying all this extra time I have to sit down and make bits and pieces. There's nothing quite like a homemade gift.

Being at home means I have more time to get creative! Here is a collage and card I made for my brother to go with his gift. I'm taking him to see Whoopi Goldberg and Jennifer Saunders in Sister Act The Musical! Whenever that will be....

I really enjoyed to whole process of drawing, tracing, cutting and sticking! Kept me busy for hours.

When it’s raining outside it can only mean one thing. Craft time!! It’s been such a long time since I sat down and got creative, so with the weather out there being gross there were no excuses. Last nights fun was painting these wooden moving models with my housemate. Still #

I just had a thought. Because we have so many clothes in the world and we are continually making more and more that just end up in the landfills. I wonder if it would make a difference if all of the high street shops bought back the clothes that are still in good enough condition for a discount price and then have their own second hand section in their stores. Would this the affect the charity shops?
Could high street shops support charity shops in some way?
I wonder....
