Mom and I went on a quick road trip a couple of weeks ago to Michoacan. We stayed in Patzcuaro at Mansion Iturbe and visited Capula (pottery!) and San Jose de Gracia (pinas!) and then went on to Guadalajara. Soooo I got lots of new goodies for the shop!

Woooo....I'm back from my buying trip to Michoacan and starting to put the goodies out :)

I have only two of each of the colours of the engraved glasses and am selling them individually. 100% cotton napkins from Patzcuaro and 100% cotton rebosos great for visits to cooler climes this summer! :) And I will be slowly unpacking my piñas, too. Exciting :)

We are now open just 4 days a week: Wednesday to Saturday 11am to 5pm.

Cosmic Milkshake has cards! Birthday cards, Te Amo cards, any-old-time cards...and we have Postcards, too! I just got one printed with our beautiful plaza arch painted that fuschia pink a few years ago. I hope to get a good photo of our current, stunning, plaza arch mural for another postcard in the future, too :)

Acabo de mandar a imprimir una con nuestro precioso arco de la plaza pintado de fucsia hace unos años. Espero poder sacar una buena foto del impresionante mural actual del arco de la plaza para otra postal en el futuro :)

When I saw the photos of the strands of columnar tourmaline that Erin got at the Tucson gem show in February I was instantly enamored! I mean...look at these gorgeous colours...reminiscent of beach glass...nature...relaxing and refreshing at the same time...ahhh, I don't know what it is about these stones, but I love them!

Erin made them into the sweetest necklaces and I'm so happy she brought me a few when she came down last week. Yay!

The first two photos are of the green tourmaline necklaces (I only have two) and the third photo is of the "rainbow tourmaline"....ahhh pinks and greens...come ON! :) I only have one of these. So yummy.

I continue to carry a few other necklaces from Erin's fabulously gorgeous line .roza that I super-love...like these beaded numbers..."Summer Vibes" and the "Minimalist" necklace that comes in black, caramel or white beads with gold accents. All necklaces are either sterling silver or gold-filled.

Oh, and of course, I have a few of Erin's classic beaded hearts, too.

Buenas dias everyone! I just thought I'd let y'all know that Cosmic Milkshake will be closed on Sundays now that it is May. But we're open Monday to Saturday for the rest of May 11am to 5pm. And then I'll keep you posted what the hours will be for June, when I know :)

There are lots of little gifties for all those Ta**us friends who love beautiful things - being ruled by Venus and all! :)

My mom is coming down in a couple of weeks with some of my stuff from Morocco, so I will have some new stock on May 25th!
