Thank you all for your continued support and FB likes. Very soon I will be posting on this page on a more regular and consistent basis. I apologize for not keeping up with the things that will be showing up. I'm not very technical and I've attempted several different ways of expanding the knowledge with posts, but keep dropping the ball. That's why I'm turning this assignment over to the new love of my life, Caroline. Caroline will be spending the time that's needed for returning messages, posting events, and helping with ads, as well as showing the growth in our business. New items, new outlet stores in convenient locations in Baja Sur, and soon to be added; internet sales.
Again, thanks for hanging in there with me and be prepared to be impressed in the near future.

Actually, Charlie's Chocolates is closed thrust mid October. But feel free to visit us at 20 Novembre in Los Barriles when we reopen this fall. Next to Green's Restaurant at the curve. Just follow the signs.

Thanks for all the "likes" and please be sure to stop by my new location at Green's Corner in beautiful Los Barriles, BCS, Mexico.
And I'd like to thank my new "Umpa Lumpa", Sonya Romero, for doing a fantastic job of keeping the chocolates flowing.
Sonya has been with me since just before Christmas and has become the best chocolate maker I've had since Sarai Zepeda and Julie Collins left to start their families. Congratulations to them both. Angels, you are missed more than you can imagine, but I'm happy for you and happy to have two more, (+ 1 on the way), new extended grandsons to add to the Charlie's Chocolate family.

Happy New Year everybody.
Okay, I'm a little late, but with the new year comes much planning for the new shop and all that goes with it. Construction should begin very soon. I will be keeping you posted right here. I'm also having a web page designed, finally. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
2016 is going to be a good year for chocolates. Lots of new products, new look, new shop, and I cut my hair. Wow!
Please feel free to post any ideas you have for new flavors. If we start making it, I'll name it after you.
It looks as though I will have heart shaped boxes this year for Valentine's Day as I'm placing my order tomorrow.
Until my new shop is built and after, you can find my assorted bags of chocolates at Joe's Deli in Los Barriles, La Ventana, and Todo Santos. Many other accounts are being set up as I type. You'll be able to find my chocolates in stores all over the Baja and soon on the mainland.
Eventually in the United States and Canada, but first, Baja California Sur.
I'll be advertising the locations of all the new places as they come in.
And I'm always at the Los Barriles public market on Saturdays from 9-12

Charlie's Chocolates are selling like mad over at Joe's Deli. Get your Christmas wrapped 5 piece bags for $3.00 for everyone you want to give a nice gift for an inexpensive price. 12 piece bags and boxes are $100 pesos and are flying out the door as fast as I can bad them up. You can't go wrong with a gift of chocolate.
Lucky for us all its not just for royalty anymore. When Cortez brought it back to Spain it carried the death sentence for anybody but royalty to consume. Talk about " Death by Chocolate". Wow, that's pretty harsh.

Merry Christmas everyone and once again, Thank you all for your continued support and well wishes. And thanks to my wonderful friends over in Playa Nortes for buying me out yesterday. You made my day with your kindness and friendship. Its nice to see so many people happy to see me back on my feet after a long, rough year.

OK, so Facebook set me a message saying basically, Where he helllhae you been, your public is clammering for news. So, here I am, and all I have is good news!
It before I get to that, I want to thank you all for your patients. And thank you also for your continued support through this last year of struggles. You have all been fantastic and I'm having a giant holiday sale to thank you.
Secondly, I want to thank Joe at Joe's Deli for once again agreeing to carry my chocolates through the Christmas season and beyond. Joe has also agreed to not only stock the Los Barriles store, but carry our full line in his two other locations in La Ventana and Todo Santos.
I'm really happy to be in Joe's stores as a supplier, but especially so because Joe and his wife are two of the finest people I know, and I'm very proud to know them and see the sensational growth from their humble beginnigs in pet supplies to 3 stores supplying the tough things to find so far away from home.
Ok, down to the Christmas specials, at last. This year I'm afraid I'm going to be selling out because I cannot keep up with the demand and my new helper, Sonya and I are working our tails off. I've tried to find more people, but even with wages at 4 xs the minimum, I'm still looking. Julie is out pegnant and won't be coming back until her delivery. If anybody is looking for a job, I'm hiring for several positions, and I take good care of my help. Please refer anybody who has a pulse to call me @ 624 155-2427.

I know everyone is wondering what happened to Charlie's Chocolates B.C.S. I plan to be back up and running very soon. I've had a few setbacks with my back , bur Julie and I will be reopened very soon. We miss you and want to see you all again. I'm hoping to be up and running in a couple weeks. Will post again soon to let you know.

OK, just an update, Charlie's Chocolates has lost my lease on my shop and there is no retail space in Los Barriles at this time. However, I'm starting construction on a new shop that will be located next to the Modwlara.a across from East Cape R.V. Park. I'll begin this coming Monday and it should be completed and ready to open for business within a week. I'm sorry for any inconvenience in getting your chocolate fix, but you can probably guess the stress that I'm feeling about this. It seems that I was gone too long and the person I trusted with the key to my shop took advantage and acted the fool in my absence. Like kids when their parents leave for a weekend the person partied night and day in my shop causing me much embarrassment and on top of it all, all of my personal belongings were stolen. Not to mentioned , loosing my place of business. Never again will I leave my keys behind. So, again, sorry for the delay in chocolate. I'll be making more today and until the new shop is open I'll be setting up a temporary sales counter two driveways down from my former shop, right behind the newest quad rental. I'll have the sandwich board sign out front and a tent with the refrigeration display case inside.
If anybody would like to help the building of the new shop, I'll buy the pizza and beer. I'll hopefully be selling at Lord of the Winds. Contingent on if I can get a booth. I'll keep you better informed now that I'm back online. Thanks for all of your support and consideration. Last year I was told of an article on my shop in the American Airlines in flight magazine. I have come to understand the publication is called The American Way Magazine, but I have yet to find the article.
If anybody knows of such an article, would you PLEASE be so kind as to forward it to me, copy and paste it right here on my page, or just inform me which issue it's in. I will gladly reward whoever finds this article with a year's FREE CHOCOLATES for your time and trouble. Thank you all again for your continued support and loyalty.
For those of you who are interested I've decided to LOWER my prices despite rising costs on my end. I feel it's more important that more people can afford to enjoy my chocolates than to make a profit. I enjoy the business so much that I'm cutting the price of my 20 piece box to $6 pesos/piece for the 1st box, $5.5 pesos/piece for the 2nd, and $5 pesos/piece for the 3rd. Tubs of cubes will also be priced to sell at a discounted price. Thanks and I hope to see you all soon.
