Décor Amor Moving to New Location!
For almost 3 years, we have enjoyed the same location of Décor Amor Store, across from the ChemBech market. During that time, Décor Amor has consistently grown into a bustling business, thanks to all you fabulous people. As we come to the end of our rental agreement for the store, we anticipate another increase in rent (after also investing money to improve the rental space.) Thankfully, we anticipated this issue some time ago and after much consideration, we have decided to move. We are excited to have secured a NEW location that is just a few blocks from our current location. This new space suits us better and provides us with much more autonomy!

Décor Amor’s Move Date: Saturday April 11th
We are already preparing to pack things up for our move at the end of April. The store will remain open from April 1st to Saturday April 11th, with 20% off all CASH purchases. My team and I will spend the last two weeks of April, packing for our move at month end. We intend to have a bit of a rest this summer as we prepare to reopen the NEW Décor Amor this fall.

Décor Amor “Make & Take Workshops”
Our monthly art workshop will continue throughout the summer. They will be held at the fabulous Amate Hotel, just a few blocks from our current ChemBech location. We have reserved private space with a lovely atmosphere and the added benefit of air conditioning for those HOT summer months. We will also have access to both bar and food service, should anyone desire.

We hope to see you over the next few weeks, but if not, please follow our Décor Amor Store page where we will post about our monthly art workshops, as well as updates about our new location and dates for reopening!

Kindest Regards
Cindi Williams & the Décor Amor Team

Earlier this week, we had our mosaic tile mirror workshop, and I loved it. Every single workshop, I say the same thing....that everybody's working with the same material, and yet the end products are just so different! What an awesome group. I look forward to doing another Mosaic class, slightly different from this one, in the near future!!

These photos are of the mosaic mirrors "in progress." For those of you who took the class, I would love to see a photo of your finished project now that you removed the film from the mirror and it's had time to cure.

Thanks to all that attended, and I look forward to seeing you and many others in next month's Decor Amor "Make & Take" art workshop!

Kind regards
Cindi Williams

This is pretty "on point"....and you will continue to see more from us!! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DxtP7N63L/

A growing number of overworked travelers are seeking rejuvenation in retreats and tours that focus on connection and creativity: blockprinting in Finland or India, sewing in England, embroidery in Italy.

Sometimes called slowcations, these trips sell themselves as the opposite of the soul-sucking “follow-the-flag” tours.

The trips are particularly appealing to solo women travelers, a long overlooked, but rapidly growing, segment of the travel market.

“You can travel and be nourished instead of tired at the end.” said Vida Forrest y Salazar, co-owner of tour company Ace Camps, which offers two dozen craft-focused trips globally.
