I feel like a proud momma here... Will Stich has set a vision for his pandemic quilt creation before it finds its resting place in a museum.

He has set a goal to bring the quilt around the world, to have the world leave it's mark on it and to tell the story of the quilt journeys around the globe before going to an exhibit to be preserved for the future.

I love his vision to take the back of the quilt and have each country he reaches out too participate in leaving a mark on this quilt.

Now, if he raises the funds needed for this massive undertaking, he will travel with the quilt but if not.... Then he will do it all remote and reach out to the countries that he can get to respond.

This will require him to start planning, coordinating with dignitaries and governments, organizations, and so much more. He has started writing major corporations who have worldly presence to see if they would partner with him.

It all started with a boys dream, some thread, and scraps.... And now the rest is history in the making.
