“No funny business while I’m away, deal?” That was my pact with Sam every time I traveled or left the house to go see a movie. I had nightmares of not being there when her time came.

As a travel writer, this pandemic impacted my work (online and offline), but it also gave me 24/7 uninterrupted cuddles with my baby girl.

The perfect way to send off the most wonderful companion, who gave me 13 years of unconditional love and who managed to convert Nils into a dog lover.

Now, this family of three needs time off to learn how to be a family of two. Thanks for understanding ❤️

It’s been a while, guys! Sorry for the radio silence. It’s been almost six months since we last left our house, and we’re desperate to keep showing you the best hidden corners of our beautiful Mexico.

For now, we wanted to share with you our 2021 Mexico Bucket List! It’s up on the blog (Link in stories), and includes experiences like swimming with a Giant Manta Ray and camping in a Mayan village in the middle of the jungle.
