Thank you St. Louis for a great weekend! Alex and I are looking forward to our next visit. Until then, we will be in Mexico looking for new and interesting treasures to bring back with us.

Join us next Friday-Sunday, Sept 18-20th, in Chesterfield, Missouri for the Taste of St. Louis. Alejandra and I will be bringing treasures that we have collected throughout Mexico this past year, with a focus on objects inspired by the Day of the Dead and Halloween. We are very much looking forward to sharing our experiences with the people of St Louis, while having loads of fun!

We just received our shipment of barro negro calaveras (skulls) from Oaxaca. Barro negro is only found in the state of Oaxaca due to the unique black clay found there.

Alex and I are currently on our first buying trip in Michoacan, Mexico and having a blast! Spending a few days based in Patzcuaro, we have traveled to nearby Capula (famous for it's Catrinas) and Uruapan for a state wide artisan fair.
