Atsion lake for a change after seeing a kid pull a last year. I have been lazy so I was just everytime we camp. I was successsful but did not catch a crappie so I had to take the yak. The did not disappoint. I knew I had to make adjustments. I was throwing a 5 Gram jighead. There’s a lot of grass and cover so it was very inefficient between casting and pulling the weeds out of your swimbait. I knew I had to make adjustments the following day.

the first that got me into . This place was stacked back then there were a lot of big . I have explored this for years, but again as more people, fish and discovered that there good sizes here. They are now MIA. So I guess it’s still worth a try since I didn’t have time to fish this day. The result was surprising.

Be careful what uou for when . . This place was a Mecca for and big . Never caught a bass here but I saw a few in a decent one following my swim bait. It did not commit to eat.

Who says is a or ? Lol. I would never imagine watching myself on one of those crazy fishing accident videos getting hooked but this was a very close call. I am very lucky! Thank you . I still have my eyes intact!

Day 3 of exploring Tarrytown Lakes . Day 1 was a bust because I came in late. Day 2 I lost 2 small fish and a nice one. I also caught my first state for 2026. So after getting no bites on a beautiful hot and sunny afternoon, I decided to explore and hard to reach . I know these places will hold creatures. The reality was I got hung multipls times and after tying 5 swimbaits in the process. You’ll see why it was worth the pain. Lol.

This place is . are pretty. The moment I stepped in, one angler was laughing and said. Yup! This place is pressured! I was scratching my head. I know it will take a lot to land a . . But yes persistence, luck and a little knowledge helped! Goodluck to the town of Tarrytown. I spoke to David and they wanted to improve the park. The place is beautiful. Please do! It was a pleasure to fish the area.

handline Alabat Island Experience Quezon . Getting back to my roots in another attempt to catch . The surf was rough and it was windy. This is my cousin’s first outing on his newly bought . I knew we will make it home alive with one oar despite heavy wind and surf. These little canoes will not easily sink if you know how to navigate rough seas.

. My hometown was an agricultural powerhouse and had one of the richest fishing grounds back then. My ancestors managed and tilled our farms. They were productive. Unfortunately, I have seen the decline and degradation of our fishery. The lack of discipline, conservation, obeying fishery rules and regulations has taken it’s toll to the population. I know there is hope, my grandmother and her colleagues have shown it by creating a fish sanctuary. The ocean has the ability to heal and produce for us if we only give her a break.
