供奉四面佛（大梵天王）的作用主要體現為祈求人生四大愿望與修持四梵行（慈、悲、喜、捨）。
四面所代表的祈求作用
四面佛的四個面面向不同方位，順時針方向（由正面開始）分別掌管與庇佑：
第一面（正面 - 事業與功名）： 祈求學業進步、事業升遷、求職順利、考公職或增強領導威望。
第二面（感情與人緣）： 祈求美滿的婚姻、愛情、改善人際關係、增進人緣或尋求良緣。
第三面（財富與福祿）： 祈求正財（工作薪資、生意興隆）以及橫財（投資、偏財機運）。
第四面（健康與平安）： 祈求身體健康、治癒疾病、闔家平安、消災解厄以及求子女。

供奉與參拜的注意事項
誠心與四面遍拜： 拜四面佛最忌諱只拜單獨一面，參拜時必須順時針方向依序拜完四面，不可略過。
守戒與正念： 信仰四面佛重在「正念正行」，求願內容應符合道德，不可祈求傷害他人或破壞他人家庭的不當願望。
言出必行（還願）： 向四面佛許願若靈驗達成了心願，務必要記得照當初許下的承諾回來還願（如獻花、跳舞、供奉大象雕像或做功德等）。

**Fourth Face (Health and Well-being):** Prayers for physical health, recovery from illness, family safety, protection from misfortune, and the blessing of having children.

**Cultivating the Four Sublime States:** In Buddhist and Brahmanical teachings, the four faces symbolize the deity's four "Immeasurable Minds": Loving-kindness, Compassion, Sympathetic Joy, and Equanimity. **Sincerity and Worshipping All Four Faces:** A major taboo is worshipping only one face; one must pay respects to all four faces in clockwise order without skipping any.
**Observing Precepts and Right Mindfulness:** Faith in the Four-Faced Buddha emphasizes "Right Mindfulness and Right Action." Requests should align with moral principles; one must not pray for improper outcomes, such as harming others or destroying someone else's family. Fulfilling Your Vow: If a wish made to the Four-Faced Buddha comes true, you must remember to return and fulfill the promise you originally made (such as offering flowers, performing a dance, dedicating an elephant statue, or performing acts of merit).
