In conjunction with Hari Kemerdekaan 2026, we’re excited to welcome KuenStephanie and MiniARTure Concepts by Eric Siow to the ILHAM Gallery Gift Shop.

From Kuen’s colourful paintings of everyday Malaysian life to Eric’s wonderfully detailed miniature worlds, both artists celebrate the places, people and little moments that make Malaysia feel like home.

A new batch of printed goodness has arrived! 🌟

Our shelves are now filled with a wonderful mix of silkscreen prints, Riso prints, stickers and zines — bold, colourful, experimental, and full of that wonderfully tactile feeling that only independent printmaking can bring.

is part of Bali’s vibrant independent print and zine culture, with a strong connection to DIY publishing, visual art and community. Their work reminds us why we love printed things in the first place: a little imperfect, a little unexpected, and very much made by human hands.

We are happy to welcome 暮之森手工皂DreamyForestHandmadeSoap into our collection — a range of handcrafted soaps, balms, and lip glosses inspired by the beauty and calm of nature.

Beyond creating these lovely self-care pieces, the maker also illustrates the packaging by hand, bringing together scent, texture, and visual storytelling in every detail.

There are some makers we’ll never stop admiring, and
Little Syam is one of them.

We’ve been carrying her hand-bound notebooks for years, and every new batch reminds us why we love them so much. Each notebook is carefully hand-sewn, and every cover is silkscreen printed by Syam herself—a labour of love from start to finish.

This latest series features a beautiful pantun on the covers, paired with two charming illustrations: Kucing and Burung. Available in a range of lovely colours, each notebook feels unique. Inside, you’ll find watercolour paper that’s perfect for painting, sketching, writing, or simply capturing everyday thoughts and moments.

Beautifully made, thoughtfully crafted, and meant to be filled with your own stories. 🌿

Tadau Kaamatan! 🌾

As we celebrate the harvest festival, we’re delighted to share Pesta Menuai, a beautiful new trilingual children’s book by , presented in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Dusun Liwan.

From story and illustrations to woodcut carving and printing, every part of this book is lovingly created by the artist. Through vivid imagery and gentle storytelling, Pesta Menuai introduces young readers to the paddy harvest tradition and the values that continue to sustain communities across generations.

More than a celebration of abundance, Kaamatan is also a time to honour the spirit, labour, and resilience of farmers whose relationship with the land makes life possible.

May this heritage continue to be cherished and passed on to future generations, so that the earth remains fertile, communities remain connected, and life continues to prosper.

Handmade ceramic plates by ✨
