Game Session sharing today with Thoon Kan And Aik Hoong.

In Imhotep, architects sail large stones from the quarry across the Nile to build pyramids, temples, obelisks and other structures to appease the Pharaohs.

In Stone Age, villagers from 3 settlements gather various natural resources to craft tools, build houses, fashion trinkets while at the same time pro-creating and ensuring sufficient food supply for their growing family.

In Istanbul, merchants and their loyal assistants weave through the bustling city with their push karts to acquire goods to trade, gamble or upgrade their services to finally gain previous rubies.

Sharing gaming session with Yean Thoong and Tan last Sunday including OOP games like Discworld Ankh Morpork, chaos in the old world, ideology (not in pics) Grifters, and Fairy tale (drafting)

Despite the flood, riots, murder, bloody stupid Johnson, mass scheming, Tan won with Chrisophase amassing his wealth.

In Old World,khorne and Slaanesh we’re busy exerting board control leaving nurgle hudddled in a small corner. By the second last turn, 5 regions were corrupted giving the pestilential god a chance for redemption through indirect means to trigger the victory condition.

The other games ended with close victories.

Looking forward to more fun.

Session sharing with Joshua Kumar and Angela

Games of stories
Murder of Crows, Once upon a time and Cthulhu Tales.
Sometimes we don't play to win but just to see how the story ends.

A foul crime was committed and it read like this:-

"Dawn forsakes the mist on the shore reeking of dead fish when
Petunia nightshade due to inferiority complex
used a lighter to immolate Finnegan Faust"

Once upon a time was a classic fairy tale-ish story telling. It was a warm up to Cthulhu tales, where the characters are more fleshed out. or in, we can't really tell because everyone wasn't entirely sane.

Three inmates in the Arkham Asylum were trying desperately to convince each other that they no longer require sleeping pills, shock treatment, straight jacket or solitary confinement by spinning yarns of outlandish tales that compelled them to make bizarre decisions and perform non-sensible acts. It will probably take a madman to separate the truth from the lies. or the other way around. Not sure anymore. Ehhhh ahhhhh. Hahaahahaha!

Throwback gaming session on the New Year's eve in Kajang with Lucas Michael, Sven, Keith Wong, Wilson Wong, Hon Mun and Ai Ni.

Played 3 games. Bausack, Dixit and Castle of the Devil.
all were suitable for 7 players

The 7 of us tried putting 21 individual wooden pieces stacked on top of 1 wooden pillar. With so many Wongs we thought we have gotten it right. We were Wong at so many levels.

Dixit with 7 was marvellous chaotic but interesting to see the mixed ideas interacting. Peter Pan was the clue for a fountain pen with wings. (Thanks to Ai Ni)

We concluded with Castle of the Devil with the Order of the Open Secrets securing all the 3 keys just in time to stop playing to witness the fireworks.

8 hours of uninterrupted gamimg of mixed EDH MTG & board games at Citizens, Old Klang Road with Kevin Wong, Donovan Lee, Adam, and Joshua Hooi on Friday 22/12/23.

First board game: Shangri-la, simple worker-placement to understand but with lots of opportunities to piggyback ride on other player's decisions. It got rather intense towards the end.

Second board game Ideology: (not in picture)
Imperialist, Fascist, Communist and Islamic Fundamentalist competing to rule the work through military tactics, economic takeovers and cultural propagandas. At one point we had the United Communist State of America while Jihad wars were fought over in parts of South America and the British Colombia was trying to secure as many small islands as possible. Fascist N**i were deploying ruthless military strategies to deter war at all fronts.

In one EDH session, we had 3 mono-black commanders against the Jetmir player, who switched to bant colours.

Players got lucky draw including Portal to Phjyrexia and Kroxa, the Titan.

We will be looking forward to another 8 hour session on next Friday. to end 2023 with more gaming.

Throwback to Board Game session at Here Be Dragons MY - Board Game Store with Valerie and Hanna on Christmas dinner night on 17/12/23.
First game i played there was Drakon, trying to escape the Dragon's lair to avoid being dinner for the Dragon.

Second game was Fairy tale, a drafting game with 5 players.

It was followed up by an RPG session with 20 players.
It was a noisy and chaotic
