The Do’s and Don’ts
When Working With Purified Water

Water is arguable the most used reagent in a laboratory. With respects to its uses, the potential impact of water quality on experiments cannot be overlooked. It is therefore important to properly handle purified water to obtain the highest quality water from your laboratory water purification system.

Do this when handling purified water:

Flush the water purification system before collecting water.
Use clean and appropriate containers.
Place the water purification system at the right location.
Constant monitor of water quality and the system’s final filter.

Don’t do this when handling purified water:

Delayed in replacing new cartridges.
Using stored ultrapure water.
Place plastic tubing at the outlet point.
Generate bubbles when dispensing water.
