Daniel Lee, 34, was born with osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle-bone disease, which causes bones to break easily. This has not stopped him from living life to the fullest, training in wheelchair fencing and pursuing his dream of representing Malaysia at the Paralympic Games.

Daniel is such a great example of of what toughness, grit, and determination can achieve.

Bennsethicoa is an independent craft chocolate maker founded in 2017 by Wilfred Ng, who used his many years of experience in chocolate to fully devote himself to crafting single-origin Malaysian bean-to-bar chocolate.

"I believe Malaysian cacao is among the best in the world, and I want the world to see that," he says.

With a very small team and very a big passion, Wilfred pushed forward. Along the way, he forged strong partnerships - and close personal friendships - with Malaysian cacao farmers in Pahang, Malacca, Sabah, all of whom shared a passion and vision for good ethical practices, fair prices, and a commitment to showing the world just how good Malaysian cacao could be.

Their devotion and sacrifice together has been worth it. Today, Bennsethicoa has won top prizes at some of the world's most comprehensive chocolate competitions - an honour we are very proud to share with our partners in the cacao plantations of Malaysia.

Together with the Malayian Cocoa Board, we are truly excited to keep bringing authentic single-origin Malaysian crfaft chocolate to the world stage, where it truly deserves to shine.
