Our commitment to clean labelling boils down to simple honesty about our ingredients.

In our new Vegan Dark Chocolate range, this also means keeping recipes pure, with a maximum of two ingredients only:
• Single-origin Malaysian cacao
• Raw cane sugar
No preservatives, additives, or colourings.

What you see on our packaging is literally what you get inside. We believe that the quality of the ingredients and our devotion to the craft of ethical, sustainable bean-to-bar chocolate speak for themselves: pure, non-alkalised cacao free from any additional flavourings. Just a natural expression of Malaysian cacao.

As we celebrate our 69th Merdeka and 63rd Malaysia Day, we give thanks to the beautiful land that has sustained and nurtured us.

Particularly for us at Bennsethicoa, we also celebrate the amazing Malaysian farmers who have dedicated their lives to their passion for growing excellent single-origin Malaysian cacao, which is gaining increasing recognition on the world stage.

We are proud to represent them through our flagship single-estate Malaysian bean-to-bar series, the Tanah Melayu Reserve. This series is a testament to endurance, perseverance, and togetherness that truly represents the spirit of Malaysia.

Daniel Lee, 34, was born with osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle-bone disease, which causes bones to break easily. This has not stopped him from living life to the fullest, training in wheelchair fencing and pursuing his dream of representing Malaysia at the Paralympic Games.

Daniel is such a great example of of what toughness, grit, and determination can achieve.

Bennsethicoa is an independent craft chocolate maker founded in 2017 by Wilfred Ng, who used his many years of experience in chocolate to fully devote himself to crafting single-origin Malaysian bean-to-bar chocolate.

"I believe Malaysian cacao is among the best in the world, and I want the world to see that," he says.

With a very small team and very a big passion, Wilfred pushed forward. Along the way, he forged strong partnerships - and close personal friendships - with Malaysian cacao farmers in Pahang, Malacca, Sabah, all of whom shared a passion and vision for good ethical practices, fair prices, and a commitment to showing the world just how good Malaysian cacao could be.

Their devotion and sacrifice together has been worth it. Today, Bennsethicoa has won top prizes at some of the world's most comprehensive chocolate competitions - an honour we are very proud to share with our partners in the cacao plantations of Malaysia.

Together with the Malayian Cocoa Board, we are truly excited to keep bringing authentic single-origin Malaysian crfaft chocolate to the world stage, where it truly deserves to shine.
