Inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Penang, Wings of Eternity celebrates the timeless beauty of the Nyonya Kebaya through contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship.

Seeing this award-winning Nyonya Kebaya design brought to life on the Penang State Chingay Flag is truly a meaningful and memorable moment for us. It represents not only recognition of our creativity and craftsmanship, but also the continued appreciation and celebration of Baba Nyonya heritage and Penang’s multicultural identity.

Honoured to have attended a discussion with the Penang State Heritage Commissioner’s Office regarding my nomination for the recognition of our precious Penang heritage. 🏛️

It was a meaningful opportunity to share insights, exchange ideas and discuss the cultural significance of our heritage, particularly the preservation and promotion of Nyonya traditional culture and craftsmanship.

As someone deeply passionate about Baba Nyonya heritage, I believe that preserving our traditions is not only about looking back at our history, but also ensuring that our cultural legacy continues to be understood, appreciated and passed on to future generations.

Grateful to the Penang State Heritage Commissioner’s Office for the opportunity and for their continued efforts in safeguarding Penang’s rich cultural heritage. 💙
