How to dismantle, fix and repair a 3D pen?

3D pen is not a simple toy or straight forward electrical device as expected by most of the parents out there.

This 3D pen needs ✅ technical competency and ✅ hands-on skills to use / maintain it.

Here we would like to share the steps and a video of using a 3D pen properly:

1. The pen consists of load and unload button, LCD screen and speed controller.

2. 1st, plug in the power supply into the 3D pen.

3. You will see 2 options in the LCD screen, PLA or ABS. Choose according to the material using. In this case, we choose PLA and press the load button once.

4. You will see the red LED indicator will light up, meaning that the pen is heating up.

5. Wait till the red LED turn green.

6. Now, load the filament into the hole at the end of the pen, and press load button twice.

7. Start drawing until you press the load button "once" to stop.

8. 💥IMPORTANT! 💥If you wish to stop / rest even for a while, remember to unload the filament to avoid filament hardening inside the pen while cooling down and get stuck. Press the unload button "once" to unload the filament.

9. 👍Cut off the unwanted part of the filament in order to use it later.
