Sabah Model Kit Competition 4.0 is back

# # Competition Categories
Participants may enter under the following 4 categories:
1. Land
2. Air
3. Sea
4. Universe
5. with Miniature

# # Competition Rules & Regulations
* Open for all participants.
* No longer team match. All entries are solo participation only.
* Mecha-themed models only.
* No resin kits.
* No 3D printed parts/models.
* No GK (Garage Kit).
* No ready-made/display models allowed.
* Diorama is optional.
* Participants using diorama will receive bonus points during judging.
* Maximum display size: 30cm x 30cm.
* Entry fee: RM60 per participant.
* Participants may join up to 2 categories with the same registration fee.

# # Judging Criteria
* Entries will be evaluated by appointed judges.
* Creativity, detailing, painting quality, presentation, and overall craftsmanship will be considered.
* Diorama presentation will receive additional bonus points.

# # Registration Deadline
* Closing Date: 31 October 2026

# # Bonus
- Whoever is member for 2026, you can have extra category by FREE and membership 2027 FREE
- Whoever is non-member and participate SMKC 4.0, auto become membership 2027

Good day to all model kit builders,

To increase the competitive spirit of the event, we would like to share some important information regarding the judging and scoring system. Please read the following carefully:

# # # Judging & Scoring Scheme

1. **Keep In View (KIV) Status**
* If a model kit receives a **"Keep In View (KIV)"** label, it means the judges will set it aside for further comparison and review before making their final decision.

2. **Point-Based Judging**
* The competition will use a **point-based judging system**.
* Each judge will award a maximum of **100 points** to every model kit.

3. **Award Categories**
* The combined scores from all judges will determine whether a model kit receives a **Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award**.

4. **Gold Award Requirement**
* Please note that **Gold Awards are not guaranteed**.
* If none of the entries achieve the required score for the Gold category, **no Gold Award will be presented** in that category.

5. Example:
* 80 - 120 marks - Consolation
* 121 - 250 marks - Bronze
* 251 - 320 marks - Silver
* 321 - 400 marks - Gold

6. **We will update to everyone here again when have confirm the judges**
