最初的 Mc Bee a.k.a BeeMan / Bee SlowMan

首先，當然要恭賀 MC BeeMan（蜂人）的潮玩店 The Fudo Shop 新張誌慶！✨

MC BeeMan（蜂人）是 Manhand 慢行 的隊長，除了擔任Rapper外，亦主要負責歌曲創作、歌詞題材、作曲、填詞，以及構思和提供 ManHanD 的整體音樂概念。

他曾透露，當初團隊需要一位男主音和一位女主音，是因為他們幾個Rapper都不擅長歌唱部份。聽聽男主音 Daeren Tan 的Rock唱腔好有味道，而女主音 Von Lee 李宜芳 的演繹又豐富了聽覺體驗。就這樣，由三位Rapper、男女主音，再加上一位DJ Point Chong Hoe Soon，理想陣容的 ManHanD 就這樣成立了。

其實，MC BeeMan 早於2001年左右已開始組Band，當時他是樂隊中的鼓手。或許正因如此，我覺得他在Rap時展現出特別出色的節奏感與拍子掌控能力，Flow往往緊貼Beat，節奏拿捏精準，這亦成為了他其中一項鮮明的優勢。

雖然在 ManhanD 裡，Daeren 和 DJ Point 主要負責編曲，但 MC BeeMan 講，有時候大家也會一起參與討論，對編曲提出意見，例如想營造什麼樣的氛圍、想要什麼樣的感覺，就會告訴他們，互相交流取得共識，讓最終完成的作品成為每位成員都滿意、都喜歡的作品。

當年我是透過 ManHanD 於2009年推出的【Show Hand】大碟中的《蜂人瘋語》而了解 MC BeeMan 的 background。這首歌曲主要講述關於他的家庭背景、成長歷程，以及對人生的反思與內心剖析，每次聽時都令我感觸良多。

MC BeeMan 亦提及過，一件我一直很好奇的事，到底長篇的Rap詞是不是很難寫的？沒想到他竟然講不會難寫😱。他認為，最重要的是先有一個清晰的概念，只要順著主題發揮，自然就能寫出很多東西。

他還講他自己蠻喜歡寫Rap詞的，因為即使篇幅很長，創作時也可以天馬行空，沒有任何約束。不像一般歌曲的歌詞，往往需要配合旋律，變化不能太大，字數和題材都會受到限制；Rap的歌詞則可以完全按照自己的想法去設計。

此外，MC BeeMan 亦一再強調Rapper的Tone有多重要。他指出，Rap和唱歌一樣，同樣有tone，也有高低音的變化；而Rap更講求Flow，每位Rapper都有屬於自己的Flow和Tone，都不一樣。每位Rapper的Rap演繹方式都不同，不了解、不熟悉Rap的人卻誤以為大家是在互相模仿。如果真的深入研究，就會知道Rap的學問很大，每位Rapper都是獨一無二的個體。

至於錄音方面，MC BeeMan 曾分享，最初他們是Rap和唱一起錄，後來就改成分開錄。原因是當時他們還堅持採用 one take 的方式，但試過之後才發現，只要有一點點不理想，就得整段重錄。當時大家都是「新手上路」，誰都沒有錄製過Rap的經驗，所以基本上都是一邊做、一邊學，慢慢累積經驗。後來慢慢發現，其實Rap的錄製可以利用backing來cover，因此一些難以避免的發音問題，都可以透過多層layer蓋掉。
