🏆🍪 ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED! ❤️

Here’s a short video of me getting to the CelcomDigi office to sell my cookies — taking the bus, MRT, LRT and another bus to get to my workplace. 🚌🚇🚆🚌

At the same time, I’m still waiting for my offer letter so I can hopefully start working there soon. 🤞❤️

You know what makes me proud today?

I was only trained on the route for ONE day, but I managed to remember the journey and find my way to the office.

And today…

I went to the office ALL BY MYSELF! 😭💪

Achievement unlocked! 🏆😂

A big thank you to my friend for helping me learn the route and my boss Aziph for making this video. 🙏

This may look like just a normal journey to work, but for me, it means something much bigger.

It shows me that I can learn, adapt and become more independent.

The Exchange TRX Mall, Kuala Lumpur

I hope I have tagged your company name correctly.

I would like to share an unpleasant and frightening experience I had today while using the disabled toilet at Level G.

At around 11:00 AM, I went into the disabled toilet to use the facilities. While I was trying to turn around and position myself properly on the toilet bowl, I almost fell.

The toilet bowl felt very unstable and unsafe. I was afraid that if I moved any further, the toilet bowl might break or become even more unstable.

Luckily, there was a grab bar beside me that I could hold on to. I managed to keep myself from falling, but I was stuck in the toilet and needed help.

I had locked the toilet door while using the facilities. While waiting for my friend came to help me, the management had to send a technician to open the door. Unfortunately, the technician had to break the door lock because the management did not have a spare key available.

The pictures below show the technician trying to open the door while I was still inside, sitting on the toilet bowl and holding onto the grab bar, waiting for my friend to come and help me get up.

Before the technician arrived, I had already called my friend to tell him what had happened. We were actually attending an event upstairs before I went to the toilet.

I was stuck inside for around an hour before I was finally able to get out.

As a wheelchair user, accessible toilets are not just a convenience for me. They are something I need to be able to use safely and independently.

I sincerely hope that the management of The Exchange TRX will take this matter seriously and inspect the disabled toilet at Level G, particularly the toilet bowl and its stability.

Please make sure that the facilities are properly maintained and safe for wheelchair users and other people with disabilities.

I am sharing this not to create trouble, but because this could have ended very differently if I had fallen. I hope this incident can help prevent the same thing from happening to someone else.

To the organiser, Ammar, I’m also sorry for troubling you and your team during the event. Thank you for your understanding. 🙏

I hope The Exchange TRX will look into this matter seriously and take the necessary action.
