《Hand in Hand, We Become》
This piece is inspired by the form of a halved gourd. Rounded and full with the top and bottom perfectly aligned.
The gourd is here symbolise the beginning of time with fortune, prosperity and wealth (fulu, 福祿) .
The goldfish (jinyu, 金魚→金餘), they signify more than wealth but for abundance of prosperity and good fortune. Swimming head to tail in a hoop, forming an endless circle that represents continuous renewal and life.
The opened gourd is no longer a sealed space. The playful movement of the fish fills it with flow, creating a cycle that welcomes energy and good fortune. They are not merely symbols of wealth, but rather represent love, companionship, time, and a universe where all things coexist.
The design is accompanied with three liuli beads.
They represent three promises: 'I see you, I hear you, and I am with you.'
Together, the gourd, the goldfish, and the liuli beads unite heaven and earth, one another, and time—quietly expressing harmony, steadfastness, and eternal companionship.
《携手共成》
葫芦收拢天地，金鱼收拢彼此，珠子收拢时间。
在自己的位置上，安然相处。这就是「两两相和」 。
作品《携手共成》的创作灵感源自开瓢的葫芦型，圆润饱满，上下相承。葫芦既是「福祿」的谐音，也是天地初开的象徵，是财富、繁荣和时间的开端。
金鱼，谐音「金余」，是富足，是盈余，是好光景。在这里，两尾金鱼首尾相携悠遊，构成一个无始无终的圆，象征生生不息; 说的是另一种“余”——有余地，有余情，有余生。
打开的葫芦，不再是个封闭的场域，金鱼的嬉戏让这个空间有了流动感， 达成了聚气纳福的循环。
它们不只是财富的象徵，而更象征着爱、陪伴、时间和万物共存的宇宙。
三颗琉璃珠表达着三个承诺：“我看见你，我听见你，我与你同在。
“葫芦、金鱼和琉璃珠共同汇聚天地、彼此以及时间——静静地表达着和谐、坚定和永恒的陪伴。
