If your electronic device gets exposed to water, the first thing to do is: switch it off immediately. Do not charge it.
Whether it’s a phone dropped into water, or a camera lens showing fog or moisture inside, it usually means water has already entered the device.
Many people try using a hair dryer, wiping it with a cloth, or putting it in rice to absorb the moisture — but unfortunately these methods usually do very little, and can waste the most important recovery time.
The correct steps are:
✅ Turn the device off immediately
✅ Do not charge it
✅ Bring it to a repair shop as soon as possible for internal inspection and cleaning
