The base quota for BUDI Diesel has been set at 200L per month. However, this base quota is being shared together with BUDI95.

In other words, eligible Malaysian citizens can choose to buy subsidized diesel (𝐑𝐌𝟐.𝟏𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐞) and RON95 petrol (𝐑𝐌𝟏.𝟗𝟗 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐞) with a combined maximum monthly limit of 200L. Once you exceed the 200L threshold, you have to pay the retail price.

However, pickup and jeep owners can apply for additional BUDI Diesel monthly quota of 100L. For owners that already receiving RM400 monthly cash assistance under the existing BUDI Diesel Individual program, they will receive the additional quota automatically.

Ahead of the full implementation on 1 July 2026, access to BUDI Diesel will be opened to eligible diesel vehicle owners in Peninsular Malaysia on 27 June 2026.

You can check your BUDI Diesel eligibility or apply for additional quota on BUDI Madani’s official portal starting from today, 22 June. Alternatively, you may also visit LHDN branches including those that are located at UTC.
