We always share our success stories on LinkedIn. But what about the ones that aren’t so successful?

Here’s one…

Over a year ago, our next-door neighbours at Books For A Better World Sdn Bhd Ampang Point moved out. Since then, the lot next to us has stayed completely empty and our foot traffic took a noticeable hit. Sales slowed down, and waiting around upstairs for people to wander up just wasn’t cutting it anymore.

Instead of waiting for the crowd to find us, we decided to take action and go directly to them.

We brought a mini selection of our collection down to the ground floor with a pop-up push cart!

It’s been a humble reminder that in business and social enterprise, adapting isn’t always about massive turnarounds, sometimes it’s about getting back to basics, trying simple experiments, and meeting people where they are.

If you’re passing by Ampang Point, come drop by the push cart, say hi, and support our mission to promote literacy and sustainability!

Fresh books are here! 📚✨
The shelves at our KL Eco City outlet have been fully replenished. Each ‘fresh’ preloved book is ready for its next chapter, supporting both a circular economy and our literacy mission. Come explore and help us make a difference, one story at a time.
A massive thank you to our incredible volunteers and everyone who donated books – none of this would be possible without your support! 🙏❤️
See you there! 👋😊

Big news for book lovers in Damansara Jaya!

We’ve officially expanded our Books For A Better World Sdn Bhd (BFBW) setup at Atria Shopping Gallery!

What started as a few modest table displays driven by a passion for literacy and sustainability has grown into a much bigger, vibrant community hub.

More shelves, longer display tables, and hundreds of newly added pre-loved books, ranging from thrillers and non-fiction to children’s stories, are now ready for you to explore.

Promoting Literacy: Giving more people affordable access to great reads.

Championing the Circular Economy: Giving pre-loved books a fresh chapter instead of letting them end up in landfills.

Community Impact: Every book you pick up directly supports our ongoing social enterprise initiatives and community literacy projects.

A huge thank you to the team, our volunteers, and the wonderful management at Atria Shopping Gallery for making this growth possible.

And of course, to our community, your love for reading keeps this movement growing!

If you’re around PJ this weekend, swing by to browse through the new collection.
