Storytime!

This is a gorgeous plaque we did for a repeat client looking for a wedding gift for her friends. She wasn't sure what she could gift the bride and groom, so we decided to take that often enormous decision off her hands by first getting important details like her budget, the couples' names, wedding date and what she would like engraved (she told us she wanted a scripture verse that would remind them of the love and joy of their wedding day).

We thought this beautiful chamfered Pinewood wall plaque was a gift worthy for the newlyweds - engraved and varnished for a long lasting gift, adorned with a meaningful verse to remind the wedded pair to always place Christ Jesus in the centre of their marriage, to stand firm in the faith, and respond to one another with love through any difficulties they face.🙏🏼💪🏼♥️

We recently worked on another set of 12 pieces of 2D wooden figurines with a wooden base for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). This latest set of International figurines are for St. Ignatius Church’s Atrium. ✝️

For Catholic parents (who are unaware) - the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) aids in nurturing a child's relationship with God. It uses a Montessori approach to Catholic faith formation of children ages 3 to 12. It is rooted in Scripture and Liturgy with the aim to help children experience an authentic and personal relationship with God who loves them, through the use of sensorially rich materials.

The CGS sessions take place in an Atrium, a sacred space created for your children to discover, listen and enter into a relationship with God and develop deep lasting roots in the faith. The Atrium is carefully prepared so your children can function independently and enjoy freedom of movement. It is equipped with simple yet beautiful child size materials sourced from scripture and liturgy to encourage spiritual growth at each developmental stage. Many of the materials will remind them of what they see in Church. This evokes a sense of reverence for the Atrium and the items it contains. Your children gain knowledge by exploring the different objects and stations that are set up in the Atrium, for eg., the Church altar.

In CSG, the adults assist but the Holy Spirit directs. Therefore, their motto is ‘Help me to fall in love with God by myself.’ The sessions are weekly, between 45 minutes to 1.5 hrs and is open for every child aged 3 and 4. There have been a lot of positive feedback from parents that their children are starting to pay attention to what the priest says and does at mass and speaks more about Jesus. Wonderful, isn’t it! ♥️

It's been more than a month since we last saw you! Here's what we’ve been up to...😊

A regular client requested for gifts to be made for Confirmands at two parishes - Christ The Light & Christ The King according to the budget given. After agreeing on one of the proposed ideas, artwork, etc., we proceeded to get the cork coasters engraved and delivered. Four days later, I received a thank you message from the client for the awesome, memorable gifts with their lovely wrapping, and that everyone including the confirmands loved their personalised gift.♥️

We’ve received a lot of positive feedback on our large affirmation dice. Some have given reviews after more than a year, it is truly encouraging to read or listen to how these gifts have impacted the lives of the recipients.

A regular client shared that each one whom she had gifted an affirmation dice to, were going through a difficult period in their life which she was unaware of until they opened up to her much later and shared how the verses & empowering quotes engraved on the dice with their name helped uplift them over and again.♥️

We give Praise and Thanks to God who is the God of the Impossible! He sees and knows each one of us personally… He never abandons. Seek Him and you WILL find Him.

A client requested for this Pinewood Veneer Scrap Book to be put together for a 21 year old as a birthday gift. The client was happy to note that the Scrap Book looked better than she had expected when she saw it in real life. This gift item in fact is from our Valetine’s Gift promo in 2021, (keeping in mind that the MCO was going to be lifted and many had lost their friends and loved ones to the disease, this gift item would encourage people to look forward in positive anticipation to create NEW memories for themselves and for others. Hence, the title) which we tweaked a little to make it more meaningful for a young law student to journal her thoughts and experiences through photos and writings, while transiting to this new stage in her life. ♥️
