Dear CUCKOO Family @ Penang,
We understand that 80% of Penang residents will face a scheduled water supply cut for four days starting 6am on Wednesday (Jan 10) due to repair works at the Sungai Dua water treatment plant. If you are affected by the water cut, here’s what we advise:
During the water supply cut, we would suggest to:
- 📴 ⚡ Switch off the power supply of your CUCKOO Water Purifier to promote a more environmentally friendly habit and conserve electricity to prevent unnecessary energy wastage.
- 📴💧 Turn off the water supply of your CUCKOO Water Purifier by turning the valve near the tap away from the tubing (not facing the same direction as the tubing).
As water resumes, we would suggest to:
- ✅ On and let your tap water run for a few minutes before using your CUCKOO Water Purifier. This is to clear out any stagnant / dirty / murky water from the main pipes.
Hope these friendly suggestions help! ✨
