No rushing, just savoring every blessing

You can see how this little one behaves when food is served — she eats slowly and leisurely, without rushing. She clasps her hands together, savoring the taste.

She didn't grab. She gently placed both hands on mine, took a few peanuts, then sat back, closed her eyes a little, and savored it — like a meditation.

She taught me this morning: Life is not about how much we get, but how gratefully we receive and how gracefully we savor it.

In a world that rushes, learn to eat slowly, love deeply, and be thankful for every small peanut life gives you.
