FOR SALE: Spendor D9 Flagship Speakers — The Ultimate Audiophile Floorstander
✨Up for sale is the crown jewel of Spendor’s D-Line: a pair of reference-grade Spendor D9 flagship floorstanding speakers. Designed and hand-built in the UK, the D9 bridges classic British BBC midrange naturalness with ultra-modern, dynamic extension.
✨If you are looking for reference-level transparency, a deep soundstage, and effortless bass without room boom, this is one of the most complete 3-way designs ever produced at this level.
✨Why the Spendor D9 is Exceptional
- Reference LPZ High-Frequency Driver: Features Spendor’s stainless-steel front plate with a micro-foil acoustic lens. It delivers crystal-clear, extended highs with pinpoint stereo imaging and zero treble fatigue.
- Dedicated EP77 Polymer Midrange: Housed in its own isolated top enclosure. Vocals sound intimately present, liquid, and uncolored—bringing acoustic tracks and vocals to life.
- Twin Kevlar Bass Drivers + Twin-Venturi Port: Dual 18cm Kevlar drivers combined with 5th-Gen Linear-Flow port technology dig all the way down to 27Hz. The bass is fast, articulate, and completely free of port noise or boominess.
- Amplifier Friendly: 90dB sensitivity with an easy 8-ohm load profile. Sings effortlessly with high-end solid-state amps (Naim, Mark Levinson, Gryphon) or sweet-sounding tube gear (Audio Research, Conrad-Johnson).
