Peranakan inspired "Pastel Petals and Ruby Bloom"🌸💠🥀

There's something special about watching hundreds of tiny beads transform into a beautiful piece of jewellery. This handmade Peranakan beaded ball earring is my tribute to the rich colours, culture, and elegance of Nyonya heritage, often seen in Peranakan embroidery and ceramics—soft blooms brought together with delicate pearl/crystal tassels and golden chains for a touch of elegance.

Okay but can we talk about the Michael Jackson movie. I watched it yesterday and I’m still thinking about it.

Growing up, his music was everything to me—I’ve been listening to him since I was 3. He wasn’t just an artist, he was my childhood idol. Watching his story on screen felt so personal, like reliving a piece of my own journey.

Fun fact: even my business name, Bead-it by Sharm K, is inspired by his iconic song “Beat It.” That’s how deep the connection goes.

The movie had me smiling, emotional, and lowkey dancing in my seat😁.

A human with a soft heart who touched lives even when the cameras weren't rolling.

A young boy whose only friends were literally animals.

A young man desperate for approval.

A good movie with great music that spanned generations!!

Watching this movie will help you understand a man's choice to never grow up and to live in Neverland.

Beautiful movie!!

Handcrafted floral necklace bringing all the color and charm.

"None-So-Pretty"🌸🍃

💗💚💗Is this the chicest ensemble to ever exist😁☺️

New seedlings for you. I made this beaded oval- shaped hoop using the colours of nature and Terahertz beads. Pink and green and another one using the colours of a peacock, has to be the prettiest colour combinations ever, even nature agrees. Also added 2 cute daisies in the interior of the frame to accentuate them. What do you think?

"Golden Ember Lace"

My first ever right-angle weave and I’m officially in love with the process 🐝✨
This honeycomb-inspired necklace set is all about patience, tiny beads, and big satisfaction 💛.

Every little cell came together like a golden hive — and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

Learned this technique from YouTube - Sonysree Creations and challenged myself to try something new 🌼.
