Michael waved his sword, cutting through the air as a blast of energy stopped Lucifer in his tracks. His sword appeared in his left as he skillfully spins forwards, tearing open Lucifer's skin from his left to his right rib. His right arm stretched forwards, smashing Lucifer downwards with brute force. Blood splattered out his lips, part of his fangs had fallen off as he fell brutally to the Earth's surface, accumulating dust particles overhead. Voom! he sped out of the dust cloud, delivering a left jab to Michael's jaw, sending him backwards. Lucifer caught both Michael's arms, pulling him towards himself as he collided both their heads together, trashing Michael upon the earth.

"Seems you've toughened up a little" Lucifer's voice sounded

"There's more" Michael teleported behind him, laying a white mark on his spine, the latter turning to meet him but sees no one. Michael appears in front of him, laying a mark on his chest, disappears and lays another on his left rib.

"Why running?" Lucifer asked in annoyance, trying unsuccessfully to catch a glimpse of the disappearing Michael

"You should be though" Michael teased, smiling as all three marks on Lucifer each emitted a white glow, exploding simultaneously. The blast launched Lucifer forward, sidewards then backwards, inflicting damage as it did so. Michael wasted no time, diving into the explosion, his fist fortified with divine energy found it's way to Lucifer's chest, blasting the latter through several building. Michael appeared behind Lucifer, ceasing him by the horn and bulleting towards the sky, flinging him violently to space

"Now show me what you g*t" Michael said with a grin, charging at Lucifer engulfed in a divine aura

The building was greatly destroyed, the couple walked about, trying aimlessly to get to safety. The building had been infested with several demons, no place was safe anymore, screams could still be heard as the demons had their will on some of those in the building they found alive. A detached human hand and other unidentifiable human body parts fell before the couple and their daughter, forcing the little girl to cling tightly to her mum. "Hunny, I see an exit" The lady said, pointing towards an underground passage in the apartment.

"But those demons" the Little girl mutters silently in fright

"Stay with your mum" The man finds a club, picking it up as he lightly pushes his wife away "I'd handle them"

"But daddy....."

"Go!!!!"

The lady runs off with her daughter in her arms, clinging over her shoulders crying in fear he might not survive, they might as well expect to receive his co**se

"Hey Yo! Freaks!" The man calls out, upsetting the demons and capturing their attention. Within seconds, all three of them g*thered around him, moving so fast the human eye could not follow. One dug it's claws into his back, throwing him at the ceiling. Another leaps to the ceiling, it's legs and hands attached perfectly to the ceiling avoiding a fall as it swallowed his head in one gulp, throwing his lifeless, headless body to the ground.

"Da...." Her little voice escaped her mouth just before her mum sealed it with her palm. The demons heard the sound just before it ceased, walking slowly towards their hideout, tracking them by their sent.

The sound of a tin can resonated as the lady mistakenly stepped on it on her path to escape, the demons turning immediately to lock eyes with her. "Hunny, hold tight!" She leaps forward, sliding on the ground till she reaches an abandoned car still in good condition. Her daughter slides in and so does she, the demons on the other hand still walking majestically towards them, drooling as they went.

"Mum! Mum!! They're almost here! Do something!!!" The little girl screamed, shifting to the opposite end of the car, her sight still keen on the advancing trio.

"Done!" The lady opens the parts encasing the ignition, cuts out two cable and momentarily connects them together, sparking as the car's engines ignited, jolting to a start.

Her legs hit the gas pedal, jetting the car out of the parking lot, performing some feats of evasive manuvers as she scaled through the disorganized and crowded drive through. The demons spread out their wings, flapping real hard as they gained on them.

"Mummy.....!!" Her daughter alarmed "... They're gaining on us" She added

"Don't worry sweetie, I g*t this" Depressing the accelerator the more, the car zooms off at higher speeds. Noticing a fallen pole up ahead and a car with open doors, she steers directly towards the pole, drifting as she got to it, carefully and meticulously setting one end of the pole under the car, coming to a stop beside the open vehicle.

"Mum, what are you doing?!"
"Have patience kid, mummy knows best"

Michael hovered few meters away from Lucifer, panting a bit, his right on his chest.

"Why you getting tired brother?" Lucifer teased "The party is just getting started" He added with a grin

Lucifer bulleted towards Michael, his arms around his abdomen as he speared him through the moon, dividing the massive object to two. He gets away, living Michael inbetween both halves, stretching both arms to the massive structure, moving them closer, inducing same action on the moon's halves. The molten magma in it's core was the first to get to Michael, engulfing him as he screamed loudly, the rest of the moon smashed together, banging Michael inbetween, sealing back to it's original shape.

"I wish we could continue but I have a planet and it's people to destroy" He turned around, summoning his trident as he descended slowly upon the earth

The demons advanced, few meters away from the lady. "Sit tight sweetie, put on your seatbelts, this is gonna get messy" She warns her daughter. Her legs hit the accelerator, violently ramming her car into the other, flipping it to the side, she drifts a little to the left, making a special combination of the steering, pedal, brakes, and gear, moving only the left rear tire which hit the pole underneath the car, shooting it towards the abandoned vehicle's fuel tank, the lady driving away as fast as she could. Just at the right moment, the rod his the tank, causing a powerful explosion, rocking the entire drive through. The distance between them and the exploding car being their only saviour from the blast

Her daughter looks out the windows, seeing no sign of the demons, she rejoices for some seconds, unaware of what's about to befall them. The moment the car got to a junction, massive light from the side fell upon them, what turned out to be a container truck was thrown at them with immense force, totally flattening their car, rendering them to nothing more than a mix of body parts and blood. Obliterating their remains with the explosion that proceeded it

Crack, crack, crack, the moon opened up slowly, exploding into bits as Michael came out in flames roaring wildly. He caught up with Lucifer landing two successive blows to his face, with no moment of rest. His sword materializes in his right, he swings the sword forward, attempting to cut Lucifer who blocked the attack with his trident. Lucifer bent back a little, throwing his legs forwards, dumping them in Michael's chest, sending him a few meters back. He spins his trident, g*thering nether energies, charging towards Michael. His trident came close enough, he stopped spinning and swung it down on Michael who gracefully caught the staff. His eyes gave off a yellow glow as energy beamed through it, burying Lucifer deep into the earth. Michael hesitates not, pummeling down on Lucifer with all he got, creating ripples of energy that swept off everything in sight, even moving the earth itself. It wasn't long before Lucifer bled profusely from his lips, face, arms and chest, each strike Michael laid on him either shattered a bone or tore his flesh, if it continues, he might as well be gone.

Michael sent another fist aiming for Lucifer's face, a shockwave emanating from the collision as Lucifer angrily caught his fist, wielding a dark force within him. A black substance oozed out of Lucifer's body, his bones forming back to shape, his flesh healing within seconds. The substance kept oozing and oozing, surrounding everyone nearby. Michael made to free himself from Lucifer's hold but his grip was too strong, Lucifer held on tight, adding force as he slowly crushed his fist inflicting pains on Michael.

His smile disappears into a frown as he delivers a direct hit at Michael's chest, forcing him to gasp for breath, blood splattering out his lips as he was sent scaling through several structures. A chain construct from Lucifer wrapped around Michael, a hook at its end being buried into his abdomen. Lucifer pulled hard, drawing Michael to himself. He yanks the chain, pulling out the hook which took Michael's liver along with it, tearing open his abdomen in the process, exposing it's organs, blood gushing quickly out of his body. Michael screamed in pain, trying to use both hands to retain his internal organs. Lucifer's sword materializes in his right, cycling the air as Lucifer threw it forwards, severing Michael's right wrist. Michael fell to the floor, siting upright as he moaned and groaned, tears rushed down his cheeks, he held out his right with his left, staring at it in shock

Lucifer formed tight fists, punching Michael so hard, time paused, large ripples of energy turned everything within ten meters into dust, disintegrating them with ease. The moment he felt the punch, he could also sense his bones cracking and breaking up, soon enough his jaw dislocated, only being held to his face by the flesh on it. He falls to the floor, groaning, blood all over him, he used his damaged right to block most of his organs from falling out his exposed body. His determination was not a joke, despite the damages inflicted, he struggled to an upright position. Materializing his sword as he gazed hopelessly at Lucifer who waited patiently for his attack. His eyes scanned the area, he saw no sign of the angels that joined him in battle, neither did he see a human without the 666 mark still standing, could it be they're all defeated, was his return actually a mistake? Each passing second, the demons came closer, encroaching on Michael who was now drenched in fear, he was no where close to even 50%, one wrong move and he'd be gone but never was he ready to back down, if it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'd get.

"I rather die than watch this happen" He said to himself, his dislocated jaw not letting him speak. Heaving a sigh of relief, closing his eyes for some seconds and uttering some unclear words in silence.

"Awww, he's praying" Lucifer mocked, causing a fresh surge of laughter amongst some humans and demons "No matter what you do, or think you're doing, you'd still lose, give it your best shot, it'll only prolong the pain"

"Maybe I may lose, maybe I may not, miracles happen" Michael managed to say, with a confident smile. His hold on his sword tightened as he took off at great speeds, ready to fight with just an arm till he breath his last. To him his death would be a glorious one, if he dies, he died for a good cause, looking forwards he saw the millions that ganged up on him. One archangel badly beaten, left to fight with just an arm, no one to help, no saviour to run to. His last wish was for his situation and his effort to not be in vain, it was like the world has silenced their ears to his cry for helo. For a second everything seemed meaningless, he had lost all hope, Lucifer had become to strong to combat, he was probably walking into his final death. No matter what the case may be, he was prepared to meet death, at least he has served a great purpose and remained through to his fate, he had gone too far to back down, it's either now or never.

His garments coated with an aura of greatness, superiority could he felt all round as his face solidified, revealing a look of annoyance.

"I guess I know, why you're here, I'm not going back" Gabriel challenged, driving his sword towards Michael who teleported behind him, lodging his elbow to his back, sending him to the ground

"You really didn't think I'd just die like that or did you?" He takes a brief pause then resumes "I purposely deceived y'all to think I'd die"

Gabriel grunted, sprinting towards Michael waving a punch before him, forced to a stop as Michael gracefully caught his fist.

"He can't stand my powers, and neither can you" Michael twists his hand to the right, shifting it's bone out of place. He turns it the other way, doing more damage to the arm. Michael pulls him closer to himself and thrusts him backwards with so much force, a shockwave broke out of the wind as Gabriel was launched at speeds breaking the sound barrier. Michael teleported to the other end, absorbing a blast Gabriel had thrown at him, seizing him by the neck in mid air, putting a drastic and painful end to his fall

"This is your last chance Gabriel, give up and join the light" Michael said in annoyance, gradually squeezing the breath out of his lungs

Gabriel undetected materialized his sword, impaling Michael with it. A few paints of blood traveled down the edges of the sword, Gabriel could feel it soil his palms, he thought he had won but the unexpected happened. Michael laughed hysterically, then took a dramatic and sudden pause. The sword turned to dust, the blood disappeared his wounds healed immediately.

"You've decided your fate"

Michael flew backwards, his eyes bursting into a yellow flame as he raised both hands, conjuring large chains that extended from multiple corners of the universe. He clapped both palms against each other, slashing Gabriel from all sides, attaching to his arms and legs, pulling him fixed in mid air. A sword formed above his head, lodging into his body, driving all the way in, Gabriel dropping sub conscious to the ground. The chains immediately, pulled with force, the earth swallowing Gabriel as he sank in.

"I'm here for him" Michael said looking at Lucifer who had an attack in store. A couple of angels appear behind Michael, awaiting his command, it seemed like a replay of what happened in heaven, only this time, the holy army were less, that of the dark more than ever. The earth somehow joined the war, or rather formed a war of their own. The marks of the devil on their bodies shone brightly as they all assembled to fight those who bore not the mark.

Like a storm of giants, both sides rushed at each other relentless. Bodies flung about here and there, body parts being hurled off and decimated, blood coloured the entire place the rubble formed a dust cloud that encased the war of uncertainty.

Those with the mark gained the strength of wild beasts, howling, their new fangs curving out their lips, their strength doubled, tripled if not quadrupled. Their eyes became an epitome of darkness as it radiated with dark energy from the depths of nether. The unmarked army we're left helpless, the only thing they could use as defense was the little objects they could find. But nevertheless, they were determined to fight till the end. The brave amongst them took what the had, pouring out into war zones like fearless men with no hopes and nothing to loose. Their swords clanged, their staffs hit hard, bodies were torn to shreds, a fresh wave of chaos came again. The earth still disintegrated, almost half of it had been gone at this time, turned into space dust and cast around the universe.

"You think you can defeat me just cause you magically appeared back to life?" Lucifer quizzed, taking his position as both beings came to a stand off admist the turmoil

"I assure you, after this, you'd know why I'm the third in command." Michael replied, moving in circles along a fixed point and so did Lucifer, still Lazer focused on each other"

"Let me get this strength, a weakling such as you is still trying to prove your God is greater? or you just wanna get wiped out? When would you understand, I am king now, they've fled cause they know my might and so will you" Lucifer taunted, still hovering about the orbit

"And what makes you think you can stop me"

"Cause I beat you before, and I'd do it again. You just don't seem to understand how much power I have. So much power your entire army can't comprehend it. All this while I've been holding back 80%. Do you know how strong the power of man's sin is? Every atrocity, every immoral act, every lie, every form of theft, blood shed, neg*tivity, I feed off them all. Your strength is only proportional to the magnitude of those that worship your so called God, the less worshipers the weaker you become. Can't you feel it, can't you see you're not the Michael you used to be before, you used to be strong and mighty, no force in the universe would dare challenge your authority but here you are, pathetic. Haven't you seen, less than 20% of the earth are still on your side, and surprisingly they're reducing even as we speak. Naturally you're weak, your source of power has been taken away from you. You're nothing more than a mere mortal with wings, hovering before me. They serve me now and so will you"

"Make me......." Michael challenging in confidence, his sword extending and flaming as he tightened his grip on it

"As you wish" Lucifer charged forward, spinning his trident as his body turned into pure dark energy, roaring violently, quaking existence itself

Before you start, this one is a lil longer than my normal length but please bare with me 😅😅😅
The process had been complete, all his new disciples bore the mark on there foreheads, some on there arms. Their bodies still generated essence for Lucifer's consumption, boosting his power levels in the process. A couple demons and Gabriel stretched to one end of the earth pulling a somewhat strange veil made totally of darkness, stretching and pulling till it overwhelmed the earth, like worms feeding on remains, each part of the earth it covered was completely disintegrated and sucked into nether, not even an atom of matter was spared. The veil got halfway, consuming with great reckoning force, the end time was now, existence was sure to be wiped out. Man could neither cry not fear, hopelessness became the new order of the day, last prayers where all that came from their hearts, the rest were allegiance pledged to Lucifer but still, nothing happened for them, they still got consumed in the dark powers of the dark veil, regretting their actions that moment. Gabriel led the charge, stretching the veil across greater parts of the Earth's surface untill a blast of positive energy struck his arm, sperating him from the veil, another came to his chest sending him meters back, he regained balance and with perfect timing flung down the next attack thrown at him, looking at the creature that stood before him
A sword, spear, shield, armour and a pair of white feathery wings, definitely another angel. How he survived or still existed was of not of concern to Gabriel, he advanced towards him, coming to a stop few meters away.

"Raphael" Gabriel called out, gazing evily at the him
"Look, it's not too late, set this people free and join with the light, we can still end this" Raphael urged, his voice light, and pleasing enough but Gabriel refused yielding
"What can we end? Can't you see? Lucifer is the new king now, where is our God when we needed Him? He disappeared, no sign of him anywhere!." Gabriel paused, taking a deep breath as he continued
"Join us, join me, and let's chart a new course for this world, form it in the right way" He continued, persuading Raphael onto his side
"I'd never stoop as low as you, I'd rather die for the light than bow down to darkness...."
"And die you will!" Gabriel cut in with a thundering voice

Messengers quickly rushed to Lucifer with news of the intruder expecting an attacking order but the latter did no such thing. He stretches forth his right palm, his trident materializing in it. A dark mist flowed from him, and simultaneously flowed within Gabriel.

Raphael wasted no time, his right hand finds it's way to the handle of his sword, pulling it out of its case, he swung the sword at Gabriel who skillfully blocked the attack with his, the one made for my by Lucifer. Gabriel steps back a little, charging forward with speed, slashing his sword against Raphael's sending him flying backward. Gabriel teleports behind him, thrusting his sword forward, a gush of wind sweeps the clouds as Raphael side steps, avoiding the attack and hitting Gabriel's sword out of his hand, sending it to the depths of the ocean.

Gabriel nodded to the left, then right, he used his palms, cracking his knuckles, clenching his fist, awaiting hand to hand combat. Raphael dropped his sword, leaning into an attacking stance. The wind came again, blowing off massive structures as Raphael landed a blow on Gabriel's left cheek, hurling him to the left, a few pints of blood splattering out his mouth

"I know this isn't you, whatever spell he has cast on you, you can break free of it before it's too late. This is your last chance Gabriel the consequences would be dire" Raphael warned, leaning into an attacking stance with clenched fists.

"You'd so pay for that!" Gabriel exclaimed with a roar

He bulleted towards Raphael, aiming for his face but the latter disappeared, delivering a blow down his spine, he appeared above Gabriel, grabbing hold of his head as he thrust him to the earth, smashing him with brute force. Suddenly, he appears on the earth's surface, he extends his middle finger and index finger, throwing them forward, unleashing a gust of wind that lifted Gabriel off the floor. He ran towards him, lifting himself into the air, his legs first as he planned a kick.

Gabriel grabbed his right foot but was given no time to plan for the kick by his left, spinning him in circles. Raphael conjured energy within both fist, depositing millions of blows into Gabriel's chest in milliseconds. His ribs severely damaged, his abdomen and chest area badly wounded as he was sent tumbling over the seas, moving for distances of a couple meters far into the sea. The earth beneath broke to pieces, structures nearby collapsed as the shockwave from the attack was beyond their resistance. Gabriel finally crashed into a small island, landing roughly on the large rock. He got off the floor, his wounds sealing within seconds, certain vein-like marks on his body extended outwards, though red, emitting dark energy which Gabriel immediately absorbed

"Time we stopped playing games, feast on my power!" Gabriel's voice boomed.
He disappeared into thin air, his presence could not be felt in anyway, he had camouflaged himself from detection. He appeared before Raphael, lodging both fists into his abdomen, crushing his ribs all the way till his neck. He teleported behind Raphael, driving his head into a barrier-construct he made, pushing it against it's walls, flattening his bones till his head was less than half in size, blood dropping and shooting out as if it was being pumped out of his body. Gabriel stretched his hands to the sea, summoning his sword out if it and into his palms.

"Say 'hi' to the jaws of death for me" Gabriel added boastfully and triumphantly

His hold on the sword tightened as he dipped it into Raphael's head, slotting it all the way in till it came protruding out the other end. His claws impaled his chest, ripping out his heart as he butchered the remains of his lifeless body to pieces, scattering a mix of tissues, blood and grey matter everywhere. He shook his sword of the blood, smiling sinisterly as he watched Raphael's remains consumed in fire.

A jet wooshhed past above the clouds and so did another, bright objects shot from the ground, exploding with great intensity as the gained certain altitudes. A couple of military and war officials were seen, well prepared for battle, they took along with them their mightiest weapons, devices capable of sinking the earth in one shot. "Fire!!" An army general's voice boomed out of their devices, causing a spradicall attack.

"Pathetic!" Gabriel condemned, allowing demons of lower rank to handle them. Their bombs and blast of energy were pretty much useless against the spiritual forces. They all g*thered in mid air, few meters away from their army's athering, spreading their hands as a force of energy conjured upon them. Their arms simultaneously flung forwards, a fresh surge of lava bursting out of the earth, swallowing each and every single one of them. The forces that bound the earth, now inexistent as it broke off to multiple pieces, and from this pieces into smaller ones till it became dust and less

He knelt down, payed no attention to the commotion around him. He held his rosary and spoke softly into it
"I have no where to run to, no place's safe. Lord, I can't tell if this is your wish, I know you're still there, I know you exist.... father, protect your children...." the man said, holdings on tighter to his rosary, pasting it on his forehead ".... , after this, let there be peace, if this is your coming then guide us, don't let your people suf......." His breath immediately got ceased, a bright light descended upon him, traveling to the sky with him. Time paused for a sec, no sound occupied the vast area of space then suddenly, several white spots appeared in the sky, falling rapidly on certain people and disappearing with them, leaving their luggages and loads behind. The light would immediately jet to the sky with whosoever it met with, leaving no trace behind.

A bright light shone from behind, overwhelming Gabriel's eyes with it's very presence, he could feel the power of a being he was well too familiar with. The latter turns around, expressing shock as he saw the figure that stood before him. A bright white light surrounded every physical detail concerning it. A smile came from it's lips as his wings recoiled back into his body

"Michael?........"

"Surprised?"

Lava spews out of the earth in great masses, covering the surface of the earth like a blanket, burning everything in sight. The earth by now has become closer to the red burning sun more than ever, it's surface heated up till steam could be seen seeping through cracks. The atmosphere had now become ominous red, a result of the sun's red-blood colour. Swarms of demons emerged from the depths of the earth, wielding all sorts of weapons as the satisfied their blood lust, slaying man in any way the wished. The screams grew louder, wailing more rampant, lots of people cried out to their saviour but nothing happened. It was like he paid deaf ears to their cries, one could even wonder if he was still in existence. Chaos ensued forth, man turned against man in his desperation to get to safety, others saw it as a moment to get their revenge on whosoever they had a grudge on before they had to face their inevitable death. A street in Africa, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria to be precise was one of the most war filled of all this moments. Thugs, robbers and other criminals sprang into the streets, raiding down on the people with bullets, crossbars, machetes, and other paraphernalia available for their use. From house to house, they wrecked the city, fighting on each street, the road flooding with crowds of people that were constantly being rammed by incoming vehicles.

A pillar of darkness shot out the earth on Lucifer's command, growing like a tall tree, so high it stretched into space, it's long slender body grew into a massively large structure with branches that stretched across every part of the earth, even to the opposite ends like the branches of a tree.

The branches solidified then emitted waves of dark energy as several blasts shot out from them, sending any object it touched into nothingness, deleting them from existence. A surge of pain, pain so great one would wish for death swept across their nerves just before deletion, ensuring their painful extinction into nether.

Fear drove men to seek help, anyway they can and accept it no matter how it'll be. They were ready to denounce their religion to save themselves from their pending painful fate. A spirit descended upon each and everyone mind with similar thought, like mind controlled beings, they walked towards the nearest body slain in the massacre that lay nearby, a sharp replica of Lucifer's broken horn materializing in their hands. They simultaneously dipped it into the blood, engraving the "666" sign on their faces

"I guess the prophecies were kinda right" Lucifer laughed, his face slowly forming into a grin as he felt the fresh surge of energy coursing through him. The 666 signs on their foreheads glowed in dark red colours, emitting a dark smoke which flowed to Lucifer, feeding him with it's essence

"Just a few more and this world would be gone" Lucifer said, using sign languages to communicate with some of the demons by his side. Grinning once again as they flew off

"More......!!!" His voice thundered, shaking the now feeble structure called earth

***"Men shall deviate from the path of the lord"***

The crisis grew more dangerous by each passing sec. Their bloodlust became greater than it had been since their existence. A roar poured out from the four corners of the earth as Lucifer summoned a beast from beyond. It's length was incalculable, it's head had gone far past the ends of the earth and it still seemed as if It's not half way out. Lucifer smiled, unleashing the beast to do it's will to the earth. Ravaging anything in it's path at will, with robust power, no one was survived even a tenth of it's weakest abilities. Boom!! It's head collided with the earth, it's mouth opened wide, a strong force of wind sucking every form of matter into it like a vacuum machine, one without limits to it's potential. Lucifer smiled as he absorbed the souls of the swallowed, increasing his strength beyond imagination.

A lady and her daughter walked out the mall, their bags full of groceries and stuffs hung on their arms as they walked towards their car. A puddle on the drive way shook softly, creating ripples as a gradually advancing quake was felt on the Earth's surface. Several explosions occured, one almost immediately after the other, could be heard racing towards the mall. Many screamed, masses of civilians poured out to the streets, running like wild men but with no specifc direction, they ran randomly and wildly, confusion and panic broke out in their midst. The lady looked closely at the now red glowing sky trying to make sense of what happened when she saw two blurry figures in the air, seconds later..... they became millions.

"Hunny! quick! get in the car!" The lady yelled, throwing her stuffs in and guiding her daughter to the rear.
"What's going on mum?" Her daughter quizzed, a look of confusion forming on her face
"Just get in!" The lady barked, shutting the door behind her. She got in, setting the car to a start. She flipped some switches and sped unto the streets, driving as fast as she could. The car screeched as she tried her best to swerve past out of harm's way but nevertheless, she still flattened some Innocent ones but why would she care to stop? She knew what she was running from. Her life and that of her daughter's was the most important thing to her at that moment.

A sudden gasp came from both mother and child as a thud sounded before them, it's force strong enough to halt the vehicle, almost toppling it forwards. The dust cloud cleared almost immediately, revealing a red figure with blood stains all over his red skin, he grinned, revealing massive razor sharp teeth coated with blood. His claws were of no difference, their entire surface had blood dripping from it to the ground.

Voom!! The car reved, screeching as it made away from the figure. The demon leaped unto the car, crushing it's top completely, almost sinking it to the bottom of the vehicle. A sound of metal snapping could be heard as it ripped out the top of the vehicle, flinging it away with tremendous force. Other demons appeared, pouncing on the vehicle, feasting on their bodies and within seconds, consuming them whole, leaving behind only their blood and some grey matter. The crowd watched in fear, retracing their steps but it was too late, millions of the creatures g*thered above them, hovering with an obvious killing intent reflecting from their faces

Humans from all parts of the world, the ones spared by the ruthless beasts were g*thered into the massive structure. An elevation built within the depths of the earth, weapons and elements of torture at all corners of it ready to be used. A circle of molten magma sperated the platform from the walls around. Wailing could be heard as one either lost his hand, legs or a very vital organ

Lucifer starred down at them and the rest of the world, he turned towards Gabriel.

"Come...." Lucifer's voice echoed in Gabriel's head telepathically. Gabriel wasted no time appearing before him, bowing as a bowl with red liquid contents appeared, hovering beside Lucifer.

Lucifer grabbed the bowl, unleashed the contents of the bowl upon Gabriel, ridding him of his positive power, giving him the dark energies they all fed off.

Gabriel moaned as he felt the new, stronger power coursing through his veins. His skin darkened, his wings mutated to a bigger, more muscular and stronger looking one, his skin gained a light shade of red, several marks appeared on his skin, glowing in ominous red. His white garment disappeared, a darker outfit coated him instead, his sword lengthened and grew in size, all attributes of his power boost.

"Arise, I charge you to lead. Make the earth suffer, it shall fear my name" Lucifer's voice echoed in the earth and beyond, arousing fear in the souls that heard his voice
