Let me share a story about this Ankara fabric my big brother is wearing. This particular Ankara material was part of what I used to start my business in 2020. I began with just a few pieces—around five pieces of Ankara fabric.
My mom had bought these materials from Lagos for my dad’s birthday and a family photoshoot. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the fabrics or take the photos. At that time, I was thinking about starting a business but had no capital. I asked my mom if I could use the Ankara fabric to start my business, and she supported me by giving them to me. My family has always been my biggest supporters when it comes to my business endeavors.
My big brother bought this fabric from me back then, and it’s still looking great on him without any fading. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, even though I’m not yet where I want to be. Thank God almighty for the progress I’ve made.
