We decided to reach out to some Orphanages homes across the nation with a little something, something and celebrate the main day with children from Stagi Cornerstone Orphanage. Kogi Stage
It’s going to be amazing!!!. A lot of fun, lovely and educative activities are lined up and many gifts items to be given out & won 💃 🕺

WE HAVE TRACK RECORDS!!!
The Grand Opening of The Barbie Place Supermarket in Lokoja, Kogi State, was a remarkable event held under the distinguished presence of Her Excellency, Hajiya Halima Wada, wife of the then Kogi State Governor, Capt. Idris Wada. The opening, which took place in the year 2013, marked not just the expansion of our brand, but a personal milestone as well. Kogi is my home, and it is only right that my family and the wonderful people of the state also benefit from the convenience and quality that The Barbie Place Supermarket has to offer.

Our decision to open a branch in Lokoja was rooted in the need to create employment for my people and to also give back to the community that has supported me throughout my journey. This supermarket is more than a business; it’s a way to bring high-quality, affordable products closer to the people I hold dear. Our vision remains to be a household name in every corner of Nigeria, offering an excellent shopping experience that meets the needs of every family, while creating opportunities for local growth.

Our journey has had its successes and challenges. We have built a solid reputation for reliability and service, but like any business, we have also faced hurdles, especially in logistics and maintaining demand. These experiences have only strengthened our resolve to serve our customers better.

Since our opening, the impact on the community has been significant. We have created job opportunities, supported local suppliers, and become a part of daily life for many families in Lokoja and its’s environs. As we look to the future, we are filled with optimism. Our goal is to continue expanding, innovating, and contributing to the local economy while ensuring that the people of Kogi State and beyond enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
