Some few years ago I started this business with ₦500.

Not ₦500,000.
Just ₦500 that my aunty dashed me when I was staying with my grandma in the village.

Let me explain 👇

After primary school, I came to Eket to stay with my aunty.
When school resumed, I wasn’t sent.
So I went back to my grandma’s house in the village.

It was during that time my aunty visited and dashed me money.
I used ₦500 from it to buy groundnut and start selling. Small small.

Even when I later went back to Rivers State to stay with my parents,
my grandma took over the business and kept it going… until she passed on.

I thought that was the end of the story.

Fast forward to today:
I’m a corp member serving in Nung Udoe, Akwa Ibom.
Allawee enters and leaves before I even blink 😂
Food is expensive. Savings? Zero.

And guess what idea came to my head again?
Groundnut.

But this time, I don’t want to just "sell".
I want to build a REAL brand. Goody Snacks

From ₦500 in my grandma’s village to a brand in 2026.
From zero... heading to hero.

This is me.

Tired.
In my kitchen in Nung Udoe.
Wearing the only hoodie I have because gas is expensive 😂

I’m a corp member.
77k enters, 77k leaves.
Transport, food, data, "small pressing"... then I’m left counting what’s remaining to see if I can even eat 3 square meals.

Some nights I ask: "Is this it?"
But then I remember my grandma.
She took the ₦500 I started with in the village and kept the business alive for me.

So I refuse to quit.

This pot is not just food.
It’s proof that I’m building something.
From this small kitchen → to Goody Snacks being in every shop in Akwa Ibom.

I don’t have capital.
I don’t have investors.
I have faith, ₦2,000, and a big vision.

I’m documenting this journey from zero to something big.
