Sometimes last year, I bought a white thrift shorts for my cousin who needed it to travel to the NYSC orientation camp. When I was arranging the items I bought at home, I realized there was money in the pocket of the shorts.
I brought it out and it was 2,000
At first my conscience was like i should return the money because it wasn’t mine, but another mind said, this money is not naira, so it means the owner is not even a Nigerian, so where I want find the owner go?
I followed the later voice, I knew in my mind that I was about cashing out.
I mean 2,000 of a foreign currency is a big money, everyone knows that naira no get better value.
As at then $2,000 was about 600k, so I said to myself, as e bad reach, this money suppose reach like 200k.
This money is called “South Korean won”
So i quickly googled “1,000 South Korean won to naira” to know the value before those aboki will cheat me.
Brethren, what I saw was shocking, at first I thought it was 300k, only for me to check well to realize its equivalent was 300 naira.
Haaa, my disappointment was disappointed, me that have already planned how to spend the money.
E pain me sha, I mean how can 2,000 South Korean won be approximately 600 naira?
I been dey think say naira not get head, but naaa, the naira is a big boy to the South Korean won.
