As the year closes....
... You keep hearing all sorts of opinions on Nigerias security, for/against, what/where/when/who. Mine is brief....
The first line of defence, is not far fetched.
1. How did we get here. Fish out the persons and acts and deal with them as need be.
2. What was the state of the people before the saga? Get the people back to such or near that state and support them
3. Forward, who are the supporters of evil, in whatever guise, fish them out and use them as example. Because as the Hausas will say, it takes an insider to conquer any people.
When you hear the budgets for Arms and weaponry, you ask, How much will it cost to allow people to possess their Cutlasses, Swords and Spears with even Dane/local hunters guns? A particular government used the military to comb villages confiscated and disarmed the same people that have been suffering under the various dastardly killings (whether Genocide or Banditry).
Then we are told, it is only after the attacks, that you hear the Military condone the villages to stop them from retaliatory actions.
I may need to be corrected, but God no dey sleep. The end of the wicked is always not good. Whatever one does, he/she will account for. Some start accounting for here on Earth before their demise.
As the years ends, may we have a heart of change for the better.......
