Do you know why some people always beat others to the game and are taken seriously, while the real victim is seen as the “crazy” one? It’s strategy and silence. Someone will do something very brutal to you, then step back and say nothing. The moment you react, vent, rant, or try to defend yourself, they stay quiet and let you look unhinged. Their silence is intentional , the goal is to make you appear mad.

Actual wicked people don’t rush to debunk accusations or argue back. The ones who over‑explain usually get exposed because lies pile on lies. The real manipulators act calm, mature, and composed. They subtly provoke you, then watch you self‑destruct emotionally while they maintain a clean image. You often won’t even realize what happened until much later.

Wickedness has strategy and it’s often quiet.

It just reminded me of my Law of Contract days in my diploma and LLB 2, and honestly, those were simpler times 😄😄. If I had known the kind of contracts people would be asking me about today, I would have paid even more attention in class 😂😂. We were taught that this type of arrangement is a void contract. A void contract is an agreement that has no legal effect, and no party can enforce it. For any agreement to be valid under the law, it must be for a lawful purpose.

Now, when someone hires a “picker” to “pick money” from a “Yankee client,” it clearly points to a fraudulent or illegal scheme. And the moment illegality enters the picture, the law quietly steps back. There’s even a Latin principle for it: Ex turpi causa non oritur actio (“No action arises from an immoral or illegal cause.”)

Meaning, if both parties are involved in illegality, the court will simply step aside. No judge is coming to help anyone recover money lost in an illegal deal 😂😂. And trying to report the other person might even expose your own role in the whole situation, and you already know how that ends 😂😂. So my dear, forget legal recovery. The contract is void, unenforceable, and the law will not save anybody involved.

I really don’t understand the outrage toward Veekee James. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a woman choosing not to depend solely on her husband and deciding to contribute to her home. That is maturity, not “pick me” behavior.

Veekee James is a successful woman. It’s only natural that she supports the household she benefits from. That’s partnership, two people building together, not one person carrying all the weight.

What many fail to admit is that contributing financially doesn’t make a woman less feminine or less valued. It simply shows responsibility. Even if your husband is wealthy, taking initiative in small ways reflects respect, love, and a sense of shared purpose.

Everyone’s mindset evolves with exposure. Some perspectives come from lack, and that’s understandable. But attacking a woman for supporting her own home is unnecessary.

At the end of the day, a healthy marriage is built on collaboration, not competition over who spends or who doesn’t..

And for those describing his conduct in court as disrespectful, please be guided. An individual who has been detained, isolated, and subjected to prolonged psychological strain cannot reasonably be expected to maintain perfect composure.

What happened between Nyesom Wike and the military officer in Abuja is a reminder of how easily people mistake insubordination for courage.

Wike was on an official inspection of a disputed piece of land, a civil matter clearly under his office. The soldier might have been acting on “orders,” but those orders don’t give him ownership or authority. In any proper democracy, the military has no business confronting a civilian minister doing his job. That’s not bravery; that’s a breakdown of order.

Many people clapping for the officer see it as “speaking truth to power,” but discipline is the backbone of the uniform he wears. Soldiers are trained to obey lawful command, not to publicly challenge civil authority. Respect for hierarchy, both military and civilian, is what keeps governance stable.

Wike might be outspoken, but in that moment, he represented the state. When a uniformed man starts arguing with a sitting minister over land allocation, something deeper has gone wrong.

The rule of law, not ego or emotion, should guide how we see this.

Most times, we rush into decisions that come back to haunt us later in life. Things I used to want so badly years ago don’t even interest me anymore. People I once rated so high and wanted to be close to no longer fit into the circle of people I want to associate with now. It’s not pride , it’s just growth.

That’s how life is. Before making any critical decision, it’s best to think and think again before jumping into that juicy offer.

Honestly, if it were now that Regina Daniel's mind has matured, she wouldn’t have married Ned Nwoko. Some of you have dated people that, when you look back, shame go catch you 😂😂. You’ll be like, “Did I actually stoop this low for this nonsense?” 😂😂
