Headache in pregnancy is common, especially in the first and third trimesters.

1st trimester: hormones, nausea, vomiting
3rd trimester: stress, poor sleep, high blood pressure
(see a doctor immediately)
Severe or sudden headache

Headache with blurred vision
Swelling of face or hands
High blood pressure
Headache with fever or neck stiffness

Persistent headache that doesn’t improve
👉 These can be signs of preeclampsia, which is serious.

Safe ways to relieve headache
Drink plenty water
Eat small, regular meals
Rest in a quiet, dark room

Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is generally safe when prescribed
❌ Avoid ibuprofen, diclofenac, aspirin unless a doctor says so.
