Some whatsapp tricks you probably don't know of.

* Format your messages with _text_ to italicize, *text* bolden your text and _text_ to strike through a text.
And if you don't want these much trouble, you can just hold the text you typing and choose more where you see the option to select bold, italic or strike through.

* Hide those blue ticks that can cause you trouble when you don't reply your messages.
Do this by going to Settings > Account > Privacy > Untick Read Receipts on Android.

* Customize when media is meant to download with Settings > Data and Storage Usage > Media Auto-Download.

* Hide your profile picture with Settings > Account > Privacy > Profile Photo

* Find out how long you've been ignored by using Chats > Specific chat > Specific message > Press and hold > Tap the info "i" icon at the top to see when your message has been read.

* You can go incognito with Settings > Account > Privacy > Last Seen > Nobody
