EPISODE THREE


Friday night [party is on]

Chaise { p.o.v }

I got dress, putting on my boot and restyling my hair and checking the mirror over again.
I was going to pick Katherine while Stephanie was going to come over , “she was supposed to be here by now” I thought. I almost thought they weren’t going because Stephanie has been so busy with her class project until she texted me in the afternoon that she hasn’t forgotten about the party and she was going.
I heard Stephanie voice from the living room “ Where are you scumbag?” She yelled. I hurried downstair and was shocked at the sight before me “ Stephanie was wearing a fu***ng gown “ I was so shocked at the sight before me , I have never seen Stephanie in a gown before and she saw me staring at her “ Do I look that bad?” Stephanie broke the silence shaking nervously pulling the short gown down uncomfortably
“ No, No, No. you look amazing “ I commented still not able to take my eye off her and I heard her curse loudly “ It’s better be because Katherine will be damn if I don’t look good and I am fu***ng gonna kill her” I laughed faintly because I still couldn’t get over seeing her in gown and her looking good in it.

Stephanie { p.o.v }

Katherine said she was going to the party with me on one condition and that was ....I was going into the party wearing one of her gown and she was going to choose the gown.

I really look bad and terrible that even Chaise couldn’t spare me a glance. Was he only being polite when he said I look amazing, I wondered as he broke my thought “ How do I look?” he asked turning around for me to check him out
“ Charming and hot as always” I thought but I wasn’t about to let my best friend know that I saw him in the same way other girls did maybe except Katherine though
“ Not bad”I replied shrugging
“ You are the only one that think in that way, since am back to being single, I am going to get alot of attention from the girls” he bragged
“ And guys too..... I can’t imagine you being gay” I laughed heartily
“F**k you steph.... the only attention I may be getting from the guys are when I steal their girlfriend’s attention “

Katherine { p.o.v }

“ You look beautiful “ Chaise said as I sat in the back seat, My heart was bubbling with happiness but I pretended not to be affected by his comment “ Not like your opinion matter” I scoffed and he gave me a smirk .
“ You didn’t put on make up steph” I turned to Stephanie fetching my bag to give her my makeup kit
“As long as I appreciate it, I would decline because I refused to look more uncomfortable than I already am” she declined my offer
“But I thought you love my dressing”I paused for a second and continued “ you really look good “ I added and she smiled faintly. Whenever I wore gown Stephanie always compliment my dressing like my last birthday I wore a short green gown
“ You look superb “she commented positively as I could recall
“ I love your dressing style on you Kate but this is so not my style “ I said
“ I didn’t actually believe steph was going to accept your condition” Chaise joined the conversation confessing he was so surprised to have seen her in gown.
We got to the party venue as Chaise park his car he screamed
“ Party is on ladies”chaise screamed as he got down from his car heading towards the Entrance.

Chaise { p.o.v }

As we entered the party, I saw guys staring at Stephanie, I was about moving close to Stephanie when Audrey walk up to me and touch my chest seductively
“ What is all this?”I asked her
“ A wise man once told me never to give up on love and I am not gonna give up “ so if I am going to fight your love between those two” “Which one of them is my rival?” She asked shamelessly
“ Audrey, stop being immature and I meant it when I said what we had is over and as for my friends.....” Stephanie interrupted as she shouted so I could hear her from afar “ come Chaise come and check this out”
“ Am coming” I shouted back and turn to Audrey “ I have to go”
“ So it is her “ Audrey questioned but I ignored her and walk towards Stephanie who was swaying her hip to the music and I saw those l***y guys staring at her so i shield her while Katherine sat and kept drinking
All I knew was that I wasn’t taking my eye off Stephanie this night because I felt she wasn’t safe alone.
I was with Stephanie all through the Night, keeping those l***y eyes off her till she got tired of the party and decided she wanted to go home…..

Happy birthday Katherine (2)

Stephanie { p.o.v }

“ So how are you going to celebrate your birthday?” I asked Katherine as we walked into our class together.
“ Dunno..Maybe I will just make popcorn and watch movies alone”
“ Alone “ I confirmed and she nodded in affirmation
“ Not if you feel like joining and make your parent mad for missing your Aunt Cassie’s dinner “
“ Am so sorry “ I apologize sincerely because Katherine really deserved a better birthday because she threw me a surprised party on my fifteenth birthday, I can remember how shocked and happy I was.
“ I understand “ she mumbled
“ Since you are now sixteen you can go to the school Friday party with Chaise and I” I said to her and she shook her head indicating she was not interested
“ please go with Chaise and I “ I pleaded with her giving her my puppy eye
“ you know it is even wrong for you to go steph, I am sixteen but you aren’t yet”
“ Not if I go with this fake I.D , I am going prepare this time” I smiled waving the I.D at her and immediately she asked “ what happened the last time” I recall which made my smile vanished “ can you believe I was thrown out of the party and the most annoying part was that I watch Chaise walk into the party with Audrey by his side” I frowned and Katherine laughter erupted
“ I wish I was there to see how you had humiliated yourself “ she said laughing
“ That’s not fair” I pouted as we sat waiting for the arrival of our teacher.

Chaise { p.o.v }

[ phone beeping ]

I saw it was a text from Stephanie , a smile appeared on my face.

Can you wait after school I need to see you before I attend my tennis lesson

Kk.....what if I don’t come??

I sent back to her and she replied

I replied her and walk towards my class
“ Chaise” I heard my name from a familiar voice and turn to faced Audrey, she appeared holding some books and her gangs standing behind her.
“ How are you?” I asked and she scoffed “ Do you expect me to be fine after breaking up with me last night”she spat angrily
“ But you seem fine “ I replied and she glared at me , she ignored my remark and she breathed in deeply and I knew she had something else to say” I know you broke up with me so you can date one of those......” she paused . I was so pi**ed , I knew what she wanted to say , Since Audrey and I started dating,she never got along with my best friends neither did they also liked her, she didn’t want to hang out with me if they were around and Stephanie couldn’t stand her the most, that wasn’t the reason why I broke up with her though but it contributed to my apathy to the relationship. The reason for breaking up was she was too possessive, irritating and controlling. I recall a time she wanted me to join her in dieting while we were having lunch because she was dieting, of course there were more event of such act of controlling.
“ one of those what?” I asked daring her to finish that sentence
“Of course you know what I was about saying, since you want to hear it from the horses mouth then I meant your trash of a friend ... Stephanie and Katherine “she answered , I burst into an uncontrollable laughter and her face flushed but she tried masking her embarrassment.
“ What!.......You are so funny, I actually haven’t thought of this before but maybe I should “ I rub my chin and smirk at her and I successfully made her pi**ed then I said lastly before leaving her with her gangs “Audrey, I have a class and have a nice life ahead of you”

Katherine { p.o.v }

“Guess what?” I asked Stephanie after our third lesson during lunch and we were seating in the canteen
“ What?” She asked absentmindedly engrossed in whatever she was doing on her phone
“ Guess” I said and she simply replied “ You know I am so not a gossip freak “
“ you will be interested in this” I added and she draw her attention to me “What?” She asked and I chuckled “ Chaise broke up with Audrey yesterday at Maze burger shop and see the clip of her crying her ass out “ I showed Stephanie
“ That was so harsh of him, even if I really don’t like Audrey “ Stephanie responded
“ I heard that “ Chaise joined in as he gave Stephanie a long stare
“ You know I don’t like Audrey but the way you broke up with her wasn’t fair “ Stephanie repeated it to Chaise and he frowned
“ I had no choice, I have broken up with her several time but she doesn’t seem to accept so I had to do it that...”
“ Way” Stephanie completed the statement and added “ Notwithstanding, no girl deserve to be treated that way. “
I was happy with the way Chaise broke up with Audrey, Maybe I may get a chance to be with him. I thought since Audrey was out of the picture and I don’t seem to have a rival.
“ Am hungry “ Chaise said as he pick Stephanie lunch box, opened it and started eating her lunch
“Don’t you dare eat my lunch Chaise partel” Stephanie yelled and I saw Chaise gave her a sweet smile, I have never seen him look at any other person that way or was I reading too much to their friendship, he was probably like that with her because they had been childhood friends.
“ watch me do that” he then smirk at her and dung into her food.

Stephanie { p.o.v }

I wonder why Katherine was my friend but what got me more surprised was why Chaise and I were still friends not only friend not just friends, we were skateboard buddies, we had a lot in common though we fought and quarrel a lot.
Chaise always painted Katherine to be the perfect girl because Katherine was the one who made right choices while I was the one who put them into trouble most times.
“ Enough guys, Chaise can you return her food back to her please”Katherine spoke calmly
“ I won’t let you guys ruin my birthday “
“ Katherine is coming with us to the school party on Friday “ I announced and Katherine objected” I never agreed on coming “Katherine kept eating her food.
“Come Katherine and don’t be such a party pooper” I replied and chaise laughed.
“Okay I will go only if......”she paused like she was thinking of a condition .

EPISODE ONE

Stephanie { p.o.v }

“ Mom......am so full” I groaned clutching to my stomach as my mum kept adding more pancakes into my plate
“Honey, I don’t think you are “ she paused for a while and continued “look at how lean you are “ she complain as she cupped my cheeks
“Mom that is natural and you feeding me with more food won’t change the way I am” I said to mum who didn’t even seem to be listening to what I was saying
“ At time I wonder if you weren’t switch in the hospital “ Mum said jokingly
“ Mom!” I frowned and she laughed and then she said “ just joking honey, there is no way you would have been switch with you having my nose and hair and your father’s eye” I had my father ocean blue eye and my Mom’s blonde hair
“ Speaking of your Dad .... why hasn’t he come down for breakfast yet “Mum said then turn to face the stair leading to their room and shouted “ Sweetheart come downstairs for your breakfast “ I stood up then I gently placed the surprise I got katherine for her birthday in my bag.
“ I have to go Mum...and tell Dad I love him “I said to mum who has already started mixing Dad’s coffee
“ Won’t you wait to tell him yourself honey”Mum asked but I glance and saw the time , I knew I couldn’t wait if I wanted to meet up with chaise
If you are asking who is chaise? Chaise is my childhood friend, neighbor and he is my secret crush. We have been friends for years before we both met katherine then we finally became a trio

Chaise { p.o.v }

“ MOM!” I called while she was preparing Dora’s breakfast. Dora is my annoying, aggressive and irritating baby sister though we don’t get along.
“ Mom, I gotta go...as for breakfast, I can’t have it because am late” I said glancing at my wrist watch.
“ Stephanie was suppose to be here by now” I thought.
Stephanie was my childhood friend and then I didn’t know why I am so attached to her but we are so alike, it was just the two of us before Katherine joined in Eight grade.
Speaking of the devil “ Hey scum bag and Hi Dora“ Stephanie walked in looking classy in a fine jean trouser, sky blue cardigan and a black boot to match it, Dora didn’t reply Stephanie greeting because she was so engrossed in whatever she was doing on her tab.
“ How are you Stephanie?”My mum asked and Stephanie replied “ Fine Mrs partel “
“ And how how is your .....” I didn’t even wait for my mum to finish before I pulled Stephanie out of the house then we headed for the driveway
“ Hope you haven’t forgotten today is Katherine’s birthday?” She asked me
“ Wait..... is today Katherine’s birthday?” I asked jokingly
“ Are you seriously asking me that” She asked me
“ just kidding “ I chuckled “ How would I forget Katherine’s birthday....I got her....”
“ you got her what?” She asked me and I smiled and replied her”I got her the earrings she loves and had always wanted
“ so what did you get her “ I asked Stephanie and she wore a mischievous look.
“ You will find out when she opens it”she replied with a smirk on her face
“ But that’s not fair” I protested as we walk towards my car still insisting on knowing what she got her
“ Like I care” she scoffed and a chuckle followed after
“ little witch” I mutter under my breath and tried bribing her but she was still adamant “ I won’t change my mind Chaise partel” she said finally and ignored me throughout the drive to school

Katherine { p.o.v }

“ Happy birthday Katherine “ I heard two familiar voice sang in chorus
“ O.M.G. I practically forgot my own birthday “ I thought as I placed my book in my locker then shut it to face my two best friends.
“ So what did you get me?” I asked chaise looking excited
“ Check it out” he said handing me the bag then I turned to Stephanie “ What did you get me” I asked her and she smiled and I squealed and jumped on me “ Happy birthday bestie “ and then handed me a package then I started unwrapping the package and then I saw my favorites earrings from chaise and then I saw a beautiful red wristband from Stephanie.
“ Thank guys .... I love them “ I squealed and hug them both, just then Chaise pulled away from the hug and gave us a pl***oy smile which got girl drooling for him ( including myself ) secretly I mean. I didn’t want him to know about my crush for him and I must commend myself for doing well in hiding it.
“ Am sorry you can’t hug me in front of the whole school .... I got a reputation to keep” he said brushing his hair with his hand in a styling way
“ Chaise!” Stephanie yelled and glare at him. Chaise was known to be the most handsome and hottest guy in high school with his wavy brown hair and his pretty eye and nice body frame.
