Why do some Adams do this?

I know it cut across all gender.

A customer came to my shop and requested he wanted to buy some packaging nylons.

He mentioned all that he needed and I told him the prices.

He asked me to issue an invoice but asked that I inflate the prices.

I was dumbfounded and didn't know what to do?

He said if I don't write it the way he wants it, he will have to go somewhere else.

I watched in disbelief and he walked away.

Fam, do you think I should have obliged to his request?

I made a post in a group where lots of business owners sell different kind of items

An interested person dropped a comment asking how he can get more information about the said post and thinking you're smart, you entered the DM of the person and KÓLOBI the market.

This is not life we're living ooo.

I've been doing business from a young age.

I took after my mother.

My mom showed me how to be self dependent and responsible as an adult

She stood up for her children and was ready to do any legal business that will help provide for their needs.

She was a strong woman with determination, focus and consistency.

And I'm glad she showed us, her family an unconditional love.

Because I inherited this from her, I came to love doing business too.

Hardly a business I can't do.

I have fried puff-puff, chinchin, donuts, groundnuts etc

I have hawked on the street of Lagos.

I have worked as a teacher and a cleaner in a school so I can meet my pressing needs.

I've done a lot of menial jobs.

These experiences over time had helped me and shaped me into who I am becoming.

As children growing up, our parents may have show us their line of business or guided us in a strict way to adulthood.

Then, you may say your parents were too strict and old school. Or they are too rigid

But many of us are benefiting greatly from that training just like I am now.

'Train up a boy in the way he should walk, even when he grows up he will not turn aside from it"

This statement is ever true.
