Supreme Court Has Ended PDP Factional Crisis, Confirmed Party's Unity — Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged united and free of internal factions following a decisive ruling by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Speaking at a press conference at his residence in Guzape, Abuja, Wike said the apex court judgment has finally laid to rest all disputes over parallel leadership structures within the party.

He dismissed insinuation that the Supreme Court affirmed the suspension of the PDP National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, saying there was no such issue for determination before the court.

“Today, the Supreme Court has brought to an end the so-called factions of the PDP. There is no more faction in the party. There is only one PDP,” he said.

The minister explained that the court dismissed appeals challenging earlier judgments from lower courts, thereby upholding the legitimacy of the party’s convention and its current leadership.

According to him, attempts by aggrieved groups to overturn the outcome of the convention failed at all judicial levels.

“The Supreme Court has validated our convention and set aside all claims to any parallel structure. What this means is that the PDP has come to stay as one united party,” Wike stated.

He stressed the need for political actors to operate strictly within the framework of the law, warning against actions capable of undermining party constitutions and electoral regulations.

“The fact that you are in a position does not mean you can act outside the law. There are rules guiding party activities, and those rules must be followed,” he added.

Wike also dismissed the relevance of some defectors who exited the party during the crisis, describing them as politically insignificant, while leaving the door open for others to return.

“Those who left are not electoral assets; they are liabilities. However, those who left out

🇳🇦 BREAKING: Namibia just paid off its entire IMF debt. Zero balance. $23.8 million repaid. No new loans. No new conditions. Freedom.

While other nations drown in IMF austerity, Namibia walked out. No more structural adjustment. No more neoliberal lectures. No more foreign control over economic policy.

This is what sovereignty looks like. Paying your debts. Refusing new ones. Charting your own path.

Namibia is free. Other African nations should take notes.

Question for the timeline: Which African country should be next to tell the IMF goodbye?

Man In Trovble After His Bank Account Was Used By Kidn@99ers To Receive Ransom

A Nigerian man identified as Kingsley is in police custody after his bank account was allegedly used to receive ₦50 million in ransom money from kidna99ers.

According to Kingsley, a man who occasionally visited his shop had been using his account to receive money on several occasions under different pretexts. Kingsley claimed that whenever the money entered his account, he would transfer it to the man as instructed.

The man had reportedly approached him again, claiming his own account could not handle a large sum meant for a project, and asked Kingsley to receive the funds and forward them afterwards.

However, the police have described Kingsley as an accomplice, accusing him of knowingly providing his account to the kidna99ers to receive the ransom payment.
The officers revealed that the ₦50 million was paid as ransom for the release of a prominent individual who had been abdvcted.

Kingsley was arr3sted at his building site, where police believe part of the ransom money may have been kept as his share of the proceeds.

Be careful how you display your Bank account details on social media

Taraba Lawmakers Acquire Nomination Forms for Governor Kefas

A rare display of cohesion among Taraba’s political class unfolded in Abuja as lawmakers across both legislative tiers moved collectively to obtain the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for Governor Agbu Kefas.

Beyond the optics, the action reflects a deepening political consensus around the governor’s stewardship. His administration’s focus on reforms, stability, and development continues to draw institutional backing, positioning him strongly as the state approaches a critical phase in its political calendar.

We are without a shadow of doubt, moving forward.

From Hon Disebe Bala Donga

OPEN LETTER TO MY FRIEND, PASTOR MURI RIKWENSI
Rikwense Muri
My dear brother,

I hope this letter meets you in good health and sound mind, especially in these times when political permutations continue to grow stronger.

Permit me to take us back briefly to the period between 2022 and 2023, when we both served Sen. Emmanuel E. Bwacha, CON as media aides (SA Media & SA New Media). Before that time, your presence in the media space and among your people was not as pronounced. That opportunity gave you visibility, voice, and relevance.

My brother, as you already know I am not a lover of long writings. I write to remind you that not everything that glitters is gold. Aligning with a camp where your loyalty is constantly questioned may not serve your longterm interest.
In such spaces, you may be seen as an outsider a fifth columnist rather than a trusted ally.

I say this not from speculation, but from experience. A few may tolerate or even respect you, but many will not fully accept you, especially when you were not part of their original struggle that brought in this government.

It is always better to be celebrated by your own people than to depend on crumbs from unfamiliar tables. There is dignity, strength, and longevity in staying connected to your roots.

Let me be clear my brother even APC State House of Assembly ticket of Ussa is taken from Rikupki the present member it will not translate into electoral victory cause the people no longer see or hear your voice as theirs.

With all due respect, I urge you to retrace your steps and reconnect with your people. Do not be carried away by temporary glamour. What you build with your people, especially among the Kutep nation, is lasting. Long after politics fade, it is your people who will remember you, honor you, and celebrate your legacy.

I write this out of sincerity and concern, because posterity will judge us all if we fail to speak truth when it matters most.

Remember always: the voi
