What we did moving forward:
1.We became much more intentional about the materials and artisans we work with, and we don’t just ask, “Does this look good?” We also ask, “Is this good enough to carry the Zemdys name?

2.We test designs in smaller quantities first, observe how they perform over time, and only scale production when there’s stronger evidence that customers genuinely want them.

3.We became more cautious about producing in bulk. We pay attention to actual customer demand before committing to large quantities.

Because at Zemdys Shoes, we give you value for your money. Beautiful isn’t enough, quality is our priority🤎.

Lessons i learnt in business 001

1.A product you love isn’t automatically a product your customers want. Don’t make a large investment based on your personal taste or a few initial sales.

2.Five sales don’t necessarily mean you’ve found a bestseller.
Those first five pairs selling quickly created a false sense of demand. The sample stage and actual market demand are two different things.

3.Product quality matters more than how beautiful the design is.A beautiful shoe made with poor-quality material can cost you much more than the money invested in the stock — it can damage customer trust and your brand reputation.

And thats not the end of the story… I thought I had made a bad business decision. Later, I realised that not selling those shoes may have protected my brand from an even bigger mistake.watch out for part 2.
