CITY BOY MOVEMENT: KANO STATE CHAPTER INAUGURATED, GRASSROOTS STRUCTURE STRENGTHENED
The Director General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, alongside members of the National Working Committee, witnessed the inauguration of the City Boy Movement Kano State Chapter, in a significant demonstration of the movement’s growing political strength and grassroots organization across the country.
The inauguration, which took place during the City Boy Movement Dinner organized by the Director of the City Boy Movement, Kano State, Hon. M. Nasir Ja’oji, at Amani Event Center, Kano, featured the unveiling of a comprehensive state structure comprising the three Zonal Coordinators, 44 Local Government Coordinators, and the Media Directorate.
The occasion brought together an impressive gathering of political leaders, government officials, grassroots mobilizers, and stakeholders from across Nigeria. In attendance were national political office holders, Directors-General of national parastatals, Executive Directors of federal institutions, Special Advisers to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as distinguished delegations representing City Boy Movement structures from the 36 states of the federation.
The event was more than a dinner; it was a powerful political gathering that underscored the importance of grassroots mobilization, structured leadership, youth participation, effective communication, and strategic political engagement in shaping the future of Nigerian politics.
The inauguration of the Kano State structure further demonstrates the commitment of the City Boy Movement to building a well-organized and responsive political network capable of reaching communities at the grassroots and providing a strong platform for political participation.
Under the leadership of Hon. M. Nasir Ja’oji, the Kano State chapter is poised to consolidate its presence across the three senatorial zones and all 44 Local Government Areas, while strengthening its media and communication machinery to effectively project the movement’s vision and political agenda.
The strong representation from across the federation is a clear indication that the City Boy Movement is growing beyond regional boundaries and establishing itself as a formidable national grassroots political platform.
The structure is ready. The grassroots are organized. The movement is expanding. The future belongs to those who prepare for it.
