There comes a stage in business when you need to let some customers go.
Not every customer is meant for you. Some will complain about everything, no matter how hard you try.
Yoruba call those people,(Àlàinitelọrun)
Even when they love what you made for them, getting a simple review or appreciation becomes a struggle.
The worst part?
They keep comparing your work and your prices to someone else's.
And it always makes me wonder...
If the other person is doing it exactly the way you want and at the price you prefer, why didn't you go to them in the first place?
Comparison doesn't build trust,it only creates unnecessary pressure.
Every craftsperson has a different style, quality, and pricing.
I'll keep serving customers who value my craft, and I'll keep protecting my peace. ❤️
Dear crafters❤️
Biko, protect your peace. Politely refer them to someone else if you have to.
Don't let customers who are never satisfied drain your energy, affect your mental health, or slow down your growth. You still have many goals to achieve.
Not every sale is worth your peace of mind.
As we say in Yoruba, àìní ìtẹ́lọ́run (never being satisfied) is a difficult thing to deal with.
Protect your business. Protect your peace. Keep growing. ❤️
