Day 29 of My AI & Automation Journey 🚀 TS Academy

Today, I decided to put one of our lessons into practice by trying out workflow planning and mapping.

One thing I’ve learned so far is that before building any automation, you should first map it out manually. It’s like creating a blueprint before constructing a house.

Since I run a laptop business, I thought, “Why not design a workflow around a real business challenge?”

So, I mapped out a simple customer enquiry process—from when a customer submits their laptop requirements, to filtering their preferences, and finally sending the appropriate response before I step in personally.

This exercise reminded me that good automation doesn’t begin with software; it begins with clear thinking and proper planning.

I’m still learning, practicing, and improving every day, and I’m enjoying every step of the journey.

💬 This is my first attempt at workflow planning and mapping. I hope I’m on the right track! I’d genuinely appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

Day 28 of My AI & Automation Journey 🚀 TS Academy

Something has changed in the way I look at everyday tasks.

A few weeks ago, I would simply complete a task and move on. Now, I catch myself asking different questions:

“Can this process be simplified?”
“Is there a smarter way to do this?”
“Does this really need me to repeat it every day?”

I’ve realized that learning AI and Automation isn’t just about mastering new tools. It’s about developing a mindset that looks for better, faster, and more efficient ways to solve problems.

I still have a lot to learn, and there are moments when things don’t click immediately. But each practical session reminds me that every expert once started exactly where I am today.

This journey is stretching my thinking, building my confidence, and showing me that growth comes one lesson, one mistake, and one improvement at a time.

I’m grateful I chose to begin.

💬 Has learning a new skill ever changed the way you see everyday life or work? I’d love to hear your experience.

Day 27 of My AI & Automation Journey 🚀 TS Academy

Not every lesson comes from the classroom. Some come from watching those who have gone before you.

Lately, I’ve been seeing members of previous TS Academy cohorts share their graduation photos, certificates, projects, and success stories.

Beyond the certificates, what touched me most were the stories behind them—the late nights, the moments of confusion, the challenges they overcame, and the decision to keep going even when it wasn’t easy.

Seeing their journey reminded me that success is a process, not an event.

It reassured me that every lesson I’m learning today, every mistake I’m making, every question I’m asking, and every hour I’m investing is preparing me for something greater.

Their success has become a reminder that this journey is worth it. If they stayed the course and finished strong, then so can I.

One day, I hope to look back on my own journey with the same gratitude and confidence, knowing that I didn’t give up when the road became challenging.

Until then, I’ll keep learning, keep practicing, and keep believing that every small step counts.

🤔 Has someone else’s journey ever inspired you to keep going when you felt like giving up? I’d love to hear your story.

Day 26 of My AI & Automation Journey 🚀

Today, I learned more about Zapier and Make and how these automation tools can be applied to solve real-life business challenges.

As someone in the laptop business, I am beginning to see how automation can help me respond faster to customers, organize inquiries, and make daily tasks easier.

For example, with Zapier, when a customer fills an online laptop inquiry form, it can automatically save their details, send a follow-up message, and notify me about the request.

With Make, I can build more advanced workflows by connecting different steps together. It can help organize customer requests, route information based on what the customer needs, and improve how I manage my business processes.

The goal is not just learning these tools but understanding how to use them to create smarter and more efficient ways of working.

I look forward to starting to apply them in my business soon and building practical automations that improve customer experience and daily operations.

Day 25 of My AI & Automation Journey 🚀 TS Academy

One of the things I appreciate about this journey is that it constantly challenges me to keep improving.

Recently, I took one of our quizzes and scored 90% on my first attempt.

For some people, 90% would be enough to move on. But I saw it as an opportunity to learn what I had missed.

So, I reviewed the questions, went back to my materials, and took the quiz again.

This time, I scored 100%. 🎉

For me, the biggest win wasn’t the perfect score. It was realizing that learning doesn’t stop after getting a good result. Sometimes, taking another look at what you already know helps you understand it even better.

This experience reminded me that improvement often comes from reviewing, correcting mistakes, and refusing to settle too quickly.

As I continue this AI & Automation journey, I’m choosing progress over perfection and consistency over shortcuts.

🤔 When was the last time you revisited something you thought you already knew and discovered there was still more to learn?

Day 24 of My AI & Automation Journey 🚀 TS Academy

Today’s class introduced us to Make.com, another powerful automation platform, and for the first time, I created my Make.com account.

Everything feels new, but that’s part of the journey.

One thing I learned right away is that every workflow starts with a trigger. Before building any automation, the first question to ask is:

“What triggers this workflow?”

We also learned that in Make.com, every automation is built inside a Scenario. A scenario is simply a workflow where different modules work together to complete a task.

I was introduced to different types of modules, including:
🔷 App Modules – Connect apps like Gmail and Google Sheets.
🔷 Tools Modules – Help manipulate and transform data.
🔷 Flow Control Modules – Control the flow of your automation using routers and filters.
🔷HTTP Modules – Connect to external APIs and web services.

It’s my first time using Make.com, and I’m optimistic about exploring it further. I’m not afraid to make mistakes, ask questions, make corrections, and keep improving as long as I’m learning in the process.

🤔 Have you ever started learning a tool that felt overwhelming at first but became easier with practice? I’d love to hear your experience.

Day 23 of My AI & Automation Journey 🚀 TS Academy

I never knew an automation could decide what deserves immediate attention.

While practicing from what we were taught to learned more on how Filters work in Zapier.

Imagine receiving dozens of emails daily. Instead of treating every email the same, a filter can check the subject line first.

If it contains “Urgent” or “Important”, the workflow continues and notifies me immediately. If not, it simply stops or follows a different workflow.

It may seem like a small feature, but I can already see how useful it is for businesses that receive lots of enquiries.

I’m realizing that smart automation isn’t just about doing things automatically—it’s about knowing what should happen and when.

🤔What repetitive task in your work could benefit from a simple filter?
