# # # **HIRING: CLEARING and LOGISTICS OFFICER**
📍 *Location: Lagos (Field-based – NAHCO, Apapa, Tincan)*🕒 *Full-Time | Immediate Start*
We are a **newly registered customs licensed clearing agency** looking for a passionate and experienced **Clearing and Logistics Officer** to join our growing team.
This is a **dual role** – you’ll manage cargo clearance operations at airports and seaports, while also playing a **major role (60–80%) in bringing in new clients** for the business.
# # # 🔧 **Key Responsibilities**
**Client Sourcing (60–80%)**
- Identify and convert importers and businesses in need of clearing services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Promote company offerings across trade hubs, markets, and terminals.
**Clearing & Logistics**
- Daily presence at NAHCO, SAHCO, Apapa, Tincan, etc.
- Handle terminal documentation and coordinate cargo release.
- Liaise with shipping/airline reps, terminal operators, and customs agents.
- Coordinate the transportation and delivery of cleared items.
# # # ✅ **Requirements**
- OND/HND/B.Sc. with 1–3 years experience in clearing/freight forwarding.
- Must be familiar with Lagos port operations.
- Proven experience or ability to bring in customers.
- Strong follow-up, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Must be comfortable working mostly in the field (not just office-based).
