Ikenna has always wanted to see a mermaid but the more he searched ,the more he found none.He never forgot the story his grandfather told him about the mermaid that married a fisherman ,enriched him and blessed him with extraordinary powers .So being a good for nothing lazy young man he made it his priority to look for a mermaid at all cost.After so many seasons of searching in vain,one quiet afternoon,he set out to the stream to fetch drinking water.On getting to the stream he heard a lady singing joyously as she combs her long hair.He hide at the back of a tree and watch her as he smiles sheepishly.He said to himself,"At last I've found her... I'll be rich".So he approached the mermaid and greeted her.She looked at him...made a loud cry and dived into the river as Ikenna called after her,"Please wait!!!.... Don't go!!!".Seeing that he might loose her if he doesn't go after her...he jumped into the river and followed her.In the river the mermaids and her sisters attacked him,they torn him into pieces, limbs by limbs until he was lifeless and feasted on his flesh....The End!!!
