REMEMBER
All day Odim has been at peace until Anayo came.He quickly stood to romantically welcome her as usual but she pushed him off and went to his bed,frowned.
"Odim,you have failed me!" Anayo said.
"How do you mean my love... I have loved but only you all my life,I provided for.Please tell me my weakness and I will make it up for you."
He walked closer to her,starring at her face.
"I am getting married tomorrow, Odim," she said.
Odim was shocked for a while and embraced up an insincere smile afterwards, "Congratulations!" He said.
Anayo rapidly stood up and walked briskly to Odim and slapped him.
They were silent for a long minutes. Odim placed his palm upon his cheek,his eyes fixed on the carpeted floor.
"Congratulations!Odim, did I just heard you say Congratulations? Odim, you are happy am getting married to another man,you betraying me now.We have been together for years!" Anayo said.
"What am I supposed to do?Stop you?Or fight the innocent man?But that won't be fair,you already made your choice, beside I pleaded with you to wait but you told me that you can't wait and you needed a husband with a future which I am too reluctant to claim. It is not my fault," Odim said, his eyes still on the floor.
"Odim, you delayed forgetting that am a woman and I could fade easily. Odim, I pleaded with you to come and see My people... To come and pay my bride price and own me forever but you felt relaxed about it."
"Anayo, but you know I has no money with me now and I won't be able to Carter for us maritally," Odim said, avoiding her face.
"Did I ever complained? Did we not promise to end up two in one body... Husband and wife."
Anayo,there is nothing I can do now,your date is fixed already!Your marriage is tomorrow Or what do you want me to do now? "
"Fight for us...fight for our love!" Anayo cried.
"Okay, quit the marriage tomorrow, you have all the power to..." Odim said.
"I can't... My family will be endangered to an interminable shame!"
