The Part You Don’t See

Sometimes, people see the finished outfit and say, “Wow, this is beautiful!” ❤️

But they rarely see this part.

The woman sitting quietly among piles of fabrics, searching, touching, comparing colours, checking textures and trying to imagine what each piece can become.

They don't see the countless decisions behind one outfit.

They don't see the moments when you are tired but still have to continue.

They don't see that sometimes, before the beautiful masterpiece comes the messy part—the fabrics everywhere, the searching, the thinking, the adjusting and sometimes even wondering, “How exactly am I going to make this one?” 😂

SEW MATES, HERE’S ONE I ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION TO 👗✂️

Before attaching your sleeve to a fitted outfit, check that the sleeve cap is sitting correctly around the armhole.

A beautiful sleeve can completely change the appearance of an outfit—but if the armhole and sleeve aren't balanced properly, the garment may pull, twist or feel uncomfortable.

Good sewing is not just about beautiful designs. The fitting and finishing matter too.
