The chouara leather tanneries in Morocco🇲🇦 is definitely on our list of 'must visit places'.

Here - animal hides are first softened and treated using pigeon p**p, cow urine, quicklime etc.
They are then dyed into such beautiful colours using natural colorant such as henna, poppy and indigo.
