There are things going to school cannot change. Reason you must know the person you're getting married to, how he or she reasons, whether he or she went to school or not, and discuss certain matters well in advance before getting married.
Never assume that just because someone has a degree, it's enough for him or her to reason well.
I complained to a lawyer former neighbour that I don't like the way his wife looks. From my findings, I found out that she's excessively overworked.
She is a mother of four with a super active toddler, runs a busy grocery store that closes very late at night, and still washes everyone's clothes with hands. Cooks and cleans after a hectic day work. Wakes up so early to prepare the children for school and fixes meals before dropping them. Then go to the shop and later goes back to pick them up. She'll still do homeworks.
This man's chamber is not too far from the children's school, but according to his wife, he has never dropped nor picked up the children from school for once.
He hangs out with friends after work till late at night and would sleep till his wife and children would leave the house the next day.
I told him about getting a house help, he didn't see any need for it. In fact he asked me what his wife will be doing if he gets a house help.
I talked about getting a washing machine, a whole lawyer told me that it makes women lazy and that washing machine can never wash clothes clean. I talked about taking some of his clothes to the laundry and he asked me again why he should do that when he has a wife. I was disgusted by his reasoning.
Some of you women will act like you haven't seen men like this, whereas many of you are enablers. You give room for this right from dating/courtship stage. You start washing, cooking and cleaning prematurely so as to be seen as a wife material.
When you get in, you become overwhelmed with other domestic chores. By then you cannot stop without troubles.
I advised the woman to get a washing machine by herself since she makes money and she told me that she may be thrown out of the marriage if she dares. That she's not allowed to spend or buy anything from the shop without permission/approval.
This is a lawyer o! You see why I said it's not by going to school. Washing machine that some of us and even females I know, including a sister of mine used as singles.
Some illiterate husbands do better than this.
An educated man is telling you in this century that washing machine makes women lazy.
Everytime, this young wife of his looks like she offended Ikot Ekpene gods. Clothes practically falling off her body.
These are the same men that will complain that their wives are no longer as attractive as they were when they married them, or that they are not whining waist on them in bed, and will use it as an excuse to run after side chicks, when in reality the woman is dying of stress.
Which energy will women like that use to look good or give you angle 360 degrees in bed?
Many women are in this. Despite the heavy makeups, if you are observant, you can see their skin practically falling off, eyes drooling and general constant tiredness. Some of them Force themselves to put up a cosmetic smile. Many of them have headache and feel dizzy all year round. I have them as patients. It's not fiction.
If you are one of such men please have mercy on your wife. If you are a woman in situation like this, please sit down and discuss with your 'lord' before you go delete. Life no get duplicate. If you die, he'll remarry sharp sharp.
If you're still single please, Fix this matter at the dating stage and avoid crying later. Don't assume that you are marrying an educated man. Some na only school them go, they are not educated. School doesn't change poor upbringing/some mindset. Some are young/educated men with old/illiterate brain.
These are the kind of messages I preach and those men will attack me as if we have personal scores to settle. Okwanu ka odimma kam na acho. Nothing else.
