There was a season when all I knew was work. I could be on four films in one week. Morning to afternoon with one producer, afternoon to evening with another, then night with a third. I had many assistants and managers just to organise my day.
Money flowed abundantly in that time, but it could also disappear fast. If you live big and spend crazy, Nollywood money will not cover you for long. For me, that money became seed, not food. I took the pain and learned to plant, not just eat.
I failed in many businesses at first. Some ideas died, some partners cheated, some dreams collapsed. But steady work kept new money coming, so I could try again. In the middle of that, I learned delayed gratification and the real meaning of discipline.
